Wii2HDMI is cheap and easy to get, so it's a good place to start, at least.

Don't forget to put HDTV in the wii options
Also, for 2D games (SNES & NEOGEO on virtual console) they will appear black
You'll need to do HOME (wait a bit), online manual (doesn't work for japanese games, it launch browser), then A+Z+2 combo (you need nunchuck). You'll here a bip, then the setting is applyed to all game.

I'm about to go for something internal, and those caveats just convinced me once more to go that route.
