wierd problem

Post by demonicfox666 » Tue Jun 28, 2011 6:14 am

hey guys got my internal sd card wired and working but im having an issue

i can load up the sd card and load a file, but fterwards if i go back into swiss it doesnt see the card,
the only way i can get it to see the card again is by going to the original bios and going into the memory card section

has this happened to others?
is it the length of my wires that tells it there is a device inserted? its pretty long

if it works once in swiss and then not any time after until you go into the original bios, I'd say it's a bug in Swiss or the library it's built with. I should probably perform a reset on the slot too.

Please detail your setup a little more so I can know how to approach the problem. Are you using a modchip, if so, which one?

i have got it all wired internally
standard pc usb sd slot adapter i bought
using 30g kynar wire
for the 2 points that tell the gamecube there is a device inserted i have the wire a little longer for a switch
as the sd card adapter does not have the points that sell it there is an sd card slot inserted
not really good at this haha
if thats not enough detail let me know
oh and running swis from disc

edit-----------

after shortening the cables mentioned above swiis loads the sd card every boot so far i will keep you posted if i start to suffer these symptoms again
