Dvd errors

Wiisx isnt reading any of my DVDs and the drive doesnt even spin up when I select the DVD option. I am running the newest version of wiisx with HBC

is your drive able to read dvds? can you play normal wiigamebackups?

Yeah I have full access to the drive and I can use it to DVD movies with other apps, or load roms from other emulators with it. When I try to run a dvd in wiisx it gives me some errors cannot read from directory /. or something a long those lines lol.

is it running on a patched IOS as I have the same problem with a cIOS

its running from HBC which is running on IOS58 the one its supposed to be on isnt it?

Im getting my external harddrive back from my one friend soon enough so it doesn't really matter.

I'm also getting this same error.. I've tried everything i can think of to fix it but just keep getting the message Error opening directory "\". My drive has no problems reading discs so i am lost
