Thanks for the reply, but I tried "LoadMii" and stops at the home screen.
It is possible that a new review of "Wii Swiss Booter" is necessary ...

Actual swiss dol.
The Swiss wallpaper appears with a GameCube image (no text) and stops there.

Extrems gave me an alternative Wii Swiss Booter when I wasn't able to get 576p to work. Maybe it'll work for you. I don't know if Extrems would mind me passing it along.

If you're loading a GameCube DOL via some Wii DOL loader, then it's clearly not going to work. You need something like the Wii Swiss Booter that can handle booting a GameCube DOL file on a Wii.

Sure about that? Pretty sure I've done it.
Edit: Guess I haven't.

Not intended to generate any debate.
Anyway thanks for the fantastic program that is Swiss-GC.
I will continue by starting with "Wii Swiss Booter" but needed three attempts.
Thank you.

That he used in distant times of "SD-Boot", but had the same problem.
Thanks.

Is it normal that when I want to boot GC backup on Wii using Swiss (launched with Wii Swiss Booter) I've got error "Error: OK". My Wii is capable to read DVD-R and I can boot this GC backup using NeoGamma. I have WiiGator cMIOS 'cause Dios Mios for me is sh*t 'cause doesn't allow me to boot backups on DVD-r (Error like "bootloader size is zero" appears).

Wii DVD drives are different from GC drives, they can't be patched via software like GC drives can.

That's why all DVD backup loaders use DVD video mode on the drive. Also presumably audio streaming is lost isn't it ?

Right, audio streaming isn't supported with DVD video (which really just means "standard DVD") discs.

No unless you solder a Wiikey to the drive.

are there any solutions for the memory card issue with resident evil zero?
whenever the game is looking for a memory card at start up, it freezes.
i dont have that problem with older swiss versions, but here the game freezes during an early cut scene.

I'll be sure to test that the next time I try out Res Evil 0.

I don't know if this has been fixed but PSO 1&2 will corrupt if it's on a SD card with other games. It works fine if it's on a card all by itself.

Why the newer versions of Swiss don't work for me. Every game that I tested worked very well on "Swiss 0.3 - revision 174" but not on newer versions - I am getting always black screen. I found different versions r221, r229, r240, r243, r253, r254, r260 and now the same with r261. Am I doing something wrong?

I have burned Swiss r174 and I am loading newer versions (*.dol files) through SD Gecko. I tried strange thinks like hold some buttons, starting game with open lid, both memory slots, two different memory cards SD and MicroSD with adapter, FAT/FAT 32 formatting with the lower and the higher cluster size card (and with NTFS/exFAT), ... I also burned r260 - the same.

Some of the games I tested are: The Legend Of Zelda WW (NTSC and PAL), Mario kart DD, Mario Sunshine, Crash Nitro Kart, 1080, Resident Evil zero, Street Racing Syndicate, Soul Calibur 2, Nintendo Puzzle Collection, Puyo Pop Fever...

My Gamecube is PAL modded with XenoGC (probably clone) and SD Gecko. My TV supports NTSC. Not all but the most of the games I tested were NTSC.
Also Mario Kart DD the PAL version starts and freezes before 50/60 Hz selection screen. But black screen (like others) on the NTSC verson.

I forgot to say that I am compressing the ISOs with DiscEX v0.9 (v0.8 for some of them). I tried clean rip and got an error.
All of the ISOs weren't fragmented.

I read the whole topic and couldn't find the answer. Other people also has this issue.

does DiscEX actually compress data? if so, that won't work.

I think I know the cause, it must be the "smarter" reads that I'm trying to do to eliminate stutter. I may implement the old ones again, I just need to think of a way to do it cleanly.
