Was the package opened by customs/have any notes attached or have damaged address.

Any indication why it took so long?

just a green sticker that the customs had a look at it. that's quite normal.

Did you have your mail held while you were on vacation? I had one case where someone sent me a PS2 card in a bubble envelope and we thought it was lost. When I went on vacation 6 months later, I had my mail held and delivered when I returned. Lo and behold, there was the missing package. I suspect that it was sitting in my post office in the "hold mail" slot the whole time.

Got my adapter today... But haven't used it yet... I'm not satisfied with my case and I don't have a dremel to cut a hole for the display and the button...

hmm think my adaptor is defective
built it into my cube yesterday. connected my wii Drive and inserted a disc....... nothing when im touching the cables of the adaptor the disc is recognized and i can play.

Thats odd, I tested every single adapter myself with the Wiikey and the WODE before I sent them out. The only thing I can think of is that the wires may be a bit long for the Wii DD as its a bit more sensitive to latency.

Did you wire up the rest of the voltage connections to the DD power connector? I didn't expect anyone to actually use these for a Wii DD on the GC so I didnt wire the power plugs for that.

If worse comes to worse and you cant get it working properly you can send it back to Liquitt and he can send you the spare he has. There's a small chance it may have been damaged in shipment but somehow I doubt it.

i will try it first with the wode i ordered today.
i used the power directly from the wii and connected the data line to the gamecube.

and another question is how can i get the wii dvd drive to eject the disc?
tried everything but nothing worked. then i threw the disc out with my hand^^but thats not the solution.

and another question: is it possible to connect the wode to the gamecube and the wii dvd drive to the wode? so that I can use the dvd drive from my wii if i want?
