Stupid to ask, but what happens with the Gamecube games once they are ripped? How would we play them? (if at all) . . . . . . . .

Use an older version of sd-boot or wait for the new one. If your pc is fast enough, use dolphin-emu. or burn to mini dvd-r and use a gamecube with homebrew capabilities and GCOS/GCOM
