You will be offering more HDMI boards for GC soon?
I have not sold any yet.
As promised here are some more pictures:
As you can see the HDMI board is screwed onto the top of the shielding that the disc drive sits on. It is essential to put the board in the right spot otherwise I think it is in the way of the CD drive's PCB. Furthermore, it is a good idea to first secure the shielding with screws before you decide how to place the HDMI board (where you drill the holes in the shielding) and where to cut for the HDMI connector. Otherwise when you screw down the top shielding, the board will move along a bit and the HDMI cutout will not be correctly aligned anymore. I neglected to do this with my install, it still turned out somewhat alright luckily.
As you can see I also placed some insulation tape onto the top shielding. Otherwise I think there is a chance a short is caused.
The small breakout board is glued to the bottom of the GameCube's motherboard with hot glue. This is not really the best glue for this, as at some point it gets fairly easy to pull the board off. Not sure if it will fall off by itself eventually, if you do not touch it every time to see if it is still hanging tight.

I kind of did a crappy, quick install with the wires. It definitely could have been done cleaner. It is most convenient if you use Kynar wires, because the pads are fairly small.
I am thinking of making the breakout board a bit bigger in the future version, so the pads have a bigger spacing. Currently the small spacing of the solder pads is what makes the installation relatively hard. I am not planning any big changes however, so firmware updates should still work fine if you install the current version. It would be cool if 1 or 2 people could give this version a test.

I may or may not be interested in testing this. Just let me know what's up.

Yes, it looks pretty neat. I enabled very soft scanlines on that picture. The scanlines create the illusion for me that the image is sharper than it actually is.

Yeah indeed that's what they are useful for. I was messing around in Dolphin this morning and realized that most games look better in native resolution with scanlines than high resolution. Native res and no scanlines doesn't as good though, I'd love to see for myself how GC video looks, might get around to building one.

Anyone know where I can buy one of these? I don't have the time or skills to make my own.

Keep an eye on BadAssConsole's twitter, megalomaniac is working on producing an (I think) assembled board.
