I don't have a disc, it never came with it...

linux is free
since the computer is crapped out, load linux via livecd and see how it runs
the OS will seem a little slow running of livecd..full install runs better
but if you like it, then you can choose to install it and not have to worry about virus attacks


i had my kid running on linux at two yrs of age..
point and click education stuff for the kiddies..

Called some places and found some info: a windows 7 disc would not work, so I bought a new hard drive.( one of the places I called said they had a burned copy of a old windows xp install disc and it worked.) Problem solved.
