Re: Swiss Nightly Build
Right, I saw that which is why I tested with 4 different Class 10 SD cards that were purchased at Best Buy. What were the odds that 4 class 10 SD cards from different Manufacturers would have the same issue? So now I have one SD card that works with that game and 4 that don't work. 1 in 5 aren't very good odds.
Re: Swiss Nightly Build
Hello
As many people here have already used SDXC card, do you know the difference between these :
http://www.ebay.fr/itm/KINGSTON-SD-XC-S ... 338ef21c5d
http://www.ebay.fr/itm/Kingston-64GB-64 ... 5aed889400
and which one would be the best ?
I'm stuck for now with 32G, but i want more

Re: Swiss Nightly Build
In my experience, there's no way to know how well a card will work until you try it. If you read my previous post, I tried 5 different class ten cards and 4 of them did not boot Super Mario Sunshine at all. Your experience may vary, but be prepared to try a few cards out before finding one that works best for you. For this reason, I would recommend buying your SD card at a brick and mortar store that you can return it to if it doesn't work out.MockyLock wrote:Hello

Re: Swiss Nightly Build
Hello there, been tinkering around with Swiss 287, trying to get SD loading to work, but I've hit one snag. I'm not sure if I'm just blind, stupid, or both, but I can't for the life of me find the patching options/menu, for options like High-Level for example (Sunshine and a few others).
Is this menu supposed to be in Swiss itself? Is it ingame? Any help woud be great!

Re: Swiss Nightly Build
I believe this was removed from Swiss a while ago.
Re: Swiss Nightly Build
Is there an available patching tool for ISOs somewhere? If not, what's the latest build that still contains the patcher?Streetwalker wrote:I believe this was removed from Swiss a while ago.
Re: Swiss Nightly Build
The idea is that those options aren't required any more. Use unpatched ISOs and if you're having any issues, try another SD card for the time being.

Re: Swiss Nightly Build
with a viper gc with no sd card loader i can only run swiss from dvd right? how i have to burn it? as is or edxpanded to full iso first? thanks

Hello
I didn't know where i should post the following information, so i'll drop it here.
F-Zero GX appears in Swiss to use audio streaming, but it's not in the audio streaming lists that we can find over the web.
I checked in swissr275, and r285.
Don't know if it's really important (i guess not), but this is my report

Re: Swiss Nightly Build
I think it is not only F-Zero, but also other games. As far as I know this information is stored inside of the game data, so it is not a fault of Swiss. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Re: Swiss Nightly Build
Yeah F-Zero GX and Metroid Prime seem to report audio streaming while they don't actually use it.
Re: Swiss Nightly Build
Yep, many games specify that they use audio streaming but don't actually. It just means that Swiss/IPL need to configure the drive for audio streaming, no harm in doing it even if a game isn't going to use Audio Streaming.

Re: Swiss Nightly Build
Ok, sorry for the misinformation.
I've never read about that before.

Re: Swiss Nightly Build
Thank you for this version. Finally the swiss settings are stored
Does it mean that one day, games setting will follow ?

Re: Swiss Nightly Build
Tried r289, 480p forcing:
- The Legend of Zelda Collection: works, but games boot in interlaced
- Mega Man X Collection: works, but games are still letterboxed
- Metroid Prime: black screen
- Metroid Prime 2: Echoes: signal lost
- Phantasy Star Online: Episode I & II: insists on interlaced
- Phantasy Star Online: Episode III: black screen
Hardware: Wii (PAL)
Hardware configuration: System Menu 4.1E, Priiloader
Swiss boot method: Modified Wii Swiss Booter provided by Extrems
Software medium: Retail discs

Re: Swiss Nightly Build
Well, i understand bug reports are useful.
But sometime, a "Hello" or a "Thank you" wouldn't cause harm...
But i must be too oldschool

Re: Swiss Nightly Build
BenoitRen how are you booting your games? Can you at least give us some situational information? In the format that megalomaniac has suggested?

Re: Swiss Nightly Build
Other than Mega Man X, these titles have native 480p support. Why force?BenoitRen wrote:Tried r289, 480p forcing:

Re: Swiss Nightly Build
BenoitRen, I'll assume you booted all those games from discs, I've mentioned it before, patches are lost on multi-DOL games when using disc, which most if not all of those games are.. This will be fixed soon, report back your findings when I say it's fixed.

Re: Swiss Nightly Build
I use retail discs.Duhasst0 wrote:BenoitRen how are you booting your games?
EDIT: Put all relevant info in my signature, as it's not going to change any time soon.

As I've said before, they are PAL versions, where the 480p option is inaccessible.megalomaniac wrote:Other than Mega Man X, these titles have native 480p support. Why force?
Sorry, I was hoping something changed because of the "Re-allocate the XFB on video mode change for games" fix (287), so I tested everything at once.emu_kidid wrote:I've mentioned it before, patches are lost on multi-DOL games when using disc, which most if not all of those games are.. The first two games in the list are definitely multi-DOL games. But I'm not aware of any Metroid Prime or Phantasy Star Online game being multi-DOL.
I look forward to your fix!
