yes, that's it
and i dont even know if 32 GB SDXC cards exist
i dont think so...and even if, it would be something cheap, like those 4GB SD cards, NOT SDHC

Sorry of the question is answered before, but does Swiss supports 2-disc isos/gcms?
To be more specific,is it possible to change from Disc 1 to Disc 2 when prompted?

should be. I haven't tested it lately and someone is telling me it's broken for Res Evil 1.

Thanks for the answer Emu_kidid.
I think that in the next few days I should give it a try...

Okay, I'm trying to get Swiss to run through PSOload.
I've got other programs like Cube64 and a port of DOOM to boot that way, and then I can load N64 ROMS off of an SD card with an offbrand SDgecko, but swiss just freezes the cube on the Phantasy Star screen where it shows the overview of the lobby.
Has anyone else got this to work? Or do I need to be roundabout, that is run another loader to get Swiss to run?

Sorry for posting here but I cant get Swiss to boot via sd media launcher, it just has a black screen and I have to press power button to start again since reset does nothing.
Running a 7 year old Gamecube platinum pal version and original games work fine.
EDIT : I think its because I was using an old sd media launcher from 2007, I bought a 2nd in 2009 and the dol boots fine from the newer disc.

I think I need to sit down for a few days and just try out every possible way to boot Swiss

I'll add that I was running in progressive scan at the time, through the official GCN component cables on an NTSC USA gamecube, DOL-001, but lacking the never-officially-used serial port 2.
I haven't tried in interlaced mode yet, I would guess that the difference would be zero (like I said, other programs designed for the cube have booted fine).
EDIT: just tried it interlaced, it makes no difference, but it shouldn't have anyways. Cube64 boots every time under any circumstance, and it is a bigger file.

nukatha, you may try this to determine if swiss is running at all.
Launch pso -> upload sdload through psoload -> launch swiss from sd card with sdload
You need a sd card < 4gb (not sdhc) with the swiss dol on it.

Emu_kidid,I am thinking to buy a 64gb SDXC card to test Swiss, but do you know if it is possible to test it with Swiss Booter via Wii?Is it compatible or SDXC cards work only with Gamecube?

SDXC might not work with either, it's a gamble! However it'd be easier for me to add support to GC for SDXC than it would to add to Wii (I have no plans to do so - from the Front SD anyway)

I'll give it a shot... I'm waiting on a SD adapter that I ordered. right now I'm just messing with .dols, trying to figure out what I'll be able to do once I have a way to read an SD card.
EDIT: Well, SDload boots just fine, so I could be roundabout:
Psoload-->SDload-->Swiss (probably).
Won't know for certain until my adapter gets here in a week, but for free shipping, I won't complain.

It's a very risky and expensive gamble,alas.
Perhaps,WiiPower knows if Swiss Booter via Wii can load a SD Gecko adapter with a SDXC card.

apparently skies of arcadia legends doesn't work anymore
now i only get to see the first screen (SEGA)
i've played most of the game with 0.1-r47 and it was fine, apart from some occasional (and annoying) battle lockups/freezes (only solved by resetting the console)

Settings? Pre-Patched? Same SD Card/ISO/Console? Did you move the file off/onto the card again?

i've tried all swiss settings, used the same setup (console, microsdhc card, etc), and i'm using the same NTSC-U gcm(shrunk) non patched that was working previously
and yes, i've formatted the card and copied all games at once (as i always do)
but i still have to test again with with 0.1-r47
EDIT:
confirmed to be working with r47 and not working with r62 (at least for me)

Thought I would update, had quite a few problems at first but think that was the sd card, as soon as I shortened the name of the dol the problems stopped, but that wasnt Swiss related since it occured on Action Replay(unhandled exception I think)
Before I renamed the dol to a shorter name it also didnt boot loads of times, often would get a black screen like 9 times out of 10 then 2 or 3 sucessful boots but since renaming its been a 100% boot sucess.
But game compatability seems to below, so far tried Megaman collection (NTSC) and played the 1st game but megaman was red!(no he wasnt Zero) and the game ran slowish. True Crime New York didnt work till I put high patch on and still froze just after the install name part.
Resident Evil 3 works only if output set to PAL60 but has constant fizzing sound in background(like an old untuned radio) and the sound in fmv is messed up(the intro at start of the game has 2 different audio tracks at once both running ultra fast)
Running on PAL gamecube via SD Media Launcher/Action Replay.

emu_kidid, you said
For instance, the following will make Super Mario Sunshine work with Audio, but breaks all other games I've tried so far:
Patch Mode: High Level
Disable Interrupts: No
This also fixed Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2005 (PAL) for me

(It froze on 'loading' before the title screen appeared.)
Edit:
Mabe add to Compatibility list?

dekatrace, sounds like you might be running 480p mode? try running 480i or 576i and then let me know what's up.

Im using PAL scart so dont have the option for 480p just auto ntsc pal 50 and pal 60
just had another black screen when trying to load swiss, but just before that got another unhandled exception error on action replay so assume its a faulty sd maybe.

dekatrace, are you using the Action Replay disc when trying to boot games in Swiss? If so, try switching to a retail disc.

emu_kidid,
I'm giving all the previous versions of swiss a try through PSOload, I'll tell you if any boot.
Anyways, when was the last time you actually booted something on a cube that way? Or have you?
I'm sure the tool will work if booted in SDload, but eliminating one step on my chain of loaders would be kind of nice.
Current Results:
Not that in all cases so far PSOload thought that it loaded the whole ROM just fine.
r62-fail (screen still shows PSO lobby)
r2 fail, see above
r7 fail, see above
r17 fail...
I'm going to start assuming at this point that none will work.

Nukatha, I haven't used PSOload since maybe about 2006 or so, I was using it for a few years before so I know how picky it can be..
Swiss and Cube64 use the same dollz tool from softdev but there is a difference which I think is the issue.. Swiss is compiled at 0x81300000 and Cube64 is at 0x80003100. When compressed with the tool, the behaviour is that Swiss compressed will have an entry point of 0x80003100 and Cube64 will have something higher 0x80300000. Next version of Swiss I compile (shouldn't be more than a few days away), I'll provide an uncompressed version too since compressing it doesn't satisfy certain loaders.

I'll be looking forward to it!
I feel useless not helping code stuff. I should really go back and relearn what I learned in high school about c++

I also have another question:
If I run swiss on a unmodded Gamecube (without Modchips or sth like that) via SDML, and then put a burned Gamecube game Backup in, Will swiss be able to boot that? Or even read a Normal Mini-DVD without modchip?
I expect a clear No, but just to be shure....
