^ I have tested Skies of Arcadia Legends. It's booting and working, I think some minor slowdowns and buzzing sounds but otherwise okay.

Have you tried the NTSC version or the PAL one?Because I tried the PAL game via Wii (I altered the video signal to 576i and 480i) and I had a blue screen with a message saying that TV signal is incompatible...

Just a quick question.
Does it make sense that some games work fine in one region and do not in another?Like Skies of Arcadia NTSC or the PoP games that run fine in NTSC but cause a black screen in the PAL verions? Can we expect a fix for this?

Tested Skies of ARcadia Legends NTSC

Works very fine! Only some, but not much, buggy sounds

I think you should work in fixing that buggy sounds and the graphic issues that happens in some games

Is it possible? If you do it, some games will run exaclty as original games on GC

I never managed to get it to work.... It always DRE's..... Might have been a bad rip though. I have the original so I don't really care much lol.

Ikaruga launched but i got the "an error has occured" message when i pressed "start game"
Skies of Arcadia (NTSC) didn't launch ("an error has occured")

both were prepatched

is the compatiblity the same for GC and for Wii?

I don't think you should prepatch those games. I have both working and I didn't prepatch.

Tested Tony Hawk Pro Skater: Underground 2

At moment, PERFECT! No error, no graphic issues, no buggy sounds, no laggy cutscenes. The best game I tried, yet

After testing latest version of Swiss, here are my results

-Skies of Arcadia Legends PAL (unplayable, blue screen with a text saying 'Invalid Tv format)
I tested also the NTSC iso ,but this resulted in a black screen. If someone have managed to play this game,PLEASE tell me the exact settings he used.
-PoP games PAL TSOT and WW-black screen
-Ikaruga PAL - playable
-Star Wars Rebel Strike PAL - playalbe but with a lot of slowdown
-Beyond Good and Evil PAL - green screen
-Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy PAL -green screen
-Baten Kaitos (both of them) PAL and NTSC - black screen
- Geist PAL -This time actually booted!I was thrilled for this but soon enough, right before the title screen,it autobooted the GC disc I have in the drive.
-Viewtiful Joe Red Hot Rumble PAL - It seems to start normally, but it freezes in the first loading screen
-WarioWare Inc PAL - Exactly the same as Geist.
-XIII PAL -Again,in the same category as Geist
-Doshin the Giant PAL -The same as Geist
-P.N.03 PAL - Freezes after the Capcom logo
-Etternal Darkness PAL - Freezes in the "Edgar Allan Poe" screen
-Luigi's Mansion PAL - It freezes in the exact same spot as in the previous revs. :-(

I will test some more soon...

I now have both a NTSC and PAL cube to test stuff on, so I'll try to fully eliminate the Green/Black screen issues.

Anyone have Star Wars Rogue Squadron 2 working? NTSC black screens for me, and I don't have a PAL version to try.

Here is almost perfect. 90%, at moment. I play on a NTSC Wii.

Maybe you should try shrunking the game. Mario Kart Double Dash didn't work for me, until I shrunk it

Use GCMUtility

You're welcome!
I don't have this game yet
But it's a game that didn't used to work on SD Boot, according of user's review!

Anyway, you should check if it's not a bad iso. Iso files are easily damageables. Check your iso, shrunk and test again!

maybe unlocking my thread would be better than having no compatibility list for the time being? people can submit their results by posting and i have no problem keeping the list up to date
