Ok seems some of you haven't figuered it out yet.

When you boot the fusion swiss qith a sd card in it you will see the contens of the fusion sd card then select the ejwct button in the left bottem. It will then eject the sd card and let you select an other device.

Problem solved ;) No need to reload swiss.

Just added a whole crapload of games to my new 32gig sd card to test a bit further. I have 21 games on the card, the last 8 games on the list on the card still suffer from fatal exception when launched. Seems maybe the sector alignment bug isnt 100% fixed.

the files, can you give me their "position on disk" which swiss tells you? I think I'm only working with 16GB cards..

Game "positions on disc" below are listed in the order that the games are listed in Swiss. All the .iso's are the proper 1392.34mb unless noted (don't know if this matters?)

These game are working:
00006040
002BE300
005765C0
0083E880
00AE6B40
00D9EE00
010570C0
0130F380
015C7640
0187F900 - only 985.32mb
01A6C3C0
01D24680
01FDC940
Games start not working here:
02294C00
0254CEC0
02805180
02ABD440
02D75700
0302D9C0
032E5C80
0359DF40

I have room for 1 more game on the card, do you need me to get that position for you also Emu?

Amazing job Emu_kidid!
This will make portable gamecubes complete.

I'll be ordering a WiiKey soon, I'll be sure to runs some tests on Swiss after I got it working on my Gamecube.

Thats awesome Emu! I've been doing alot of testing, as Zenloc previously stated using swiss to boot cross region games from the Wiikey actually seems to have increased cross region compatibility. When booting pal games on an ntsc cube however forced 480i never seems to work for me unless the pal game natively supports 60hz mode. Forced 480p works flawlessly on all the pal games I've tried though. :)

Looks like I'm having trouble with this one. I wired up a wiikey, updated it to official 1.5 firmware, then I flashed it with emu_kids firmware, now after it boots it hangs at the init wiikey fusion menu.

I haven't kept up with wiikey completely so I think I'm just missing something. What am I missing?

Oh derp, my fault, you put a FAT32 into the wiikey slot.

INGENIOUS EMU_KIDID!

This whole time I thought I was going to lose slot B to be dedicated to games. Now I get it though,

Again EMU, you're the greatest man.

I have the firmware flashed and Swiss starts up. Now how do I get Luigi's Mansion Ntsc to load? It still gets to the Nintendo screen then says "an error has occured". What am I doing wrong.

By the way I am using a 64gb SDHC Fat 32 format with only one game on it (Luigi)

The NTSC LM fix is still in the works. You can load the NTSC version thru SD gecko, but in my experience without a dvd drive it still crashes often. It does go in game though.

I am loading the PAL version thru the Wiikey on my latest portable Hail, and forcing it to 480p via swiss. Its the only way it works on NTSC cubes atm through the actual Wiikey.

We just have to be patient. :D Emu is a busy guy, he knows of all the specific issues we're having and I'm sure they're on a very long list of stuff that needs fixing.

Hmm okay thanks for the reply. However right now I cant get any game to load. Some try to and just go to the black screen others go to menus then crash. Don't really know whts wrong, probably something I'm doing.

Well, atm only up to 16gb sd cards are supported properly, my 32gb card works but the last ~10ish games on there wont load properly. Is your card fat32 formatted? Also I think atm scrubbed images are hit and miss. If your images are scrubbed (shrunk), try redumping or DL a proper 1.35gb iso rip.

It's kind of weird. I also have a 2gb card and nothing is working on it either.

They both are fat32 formatted and I have tried 20 games none of them scrubbed all are 1.35gb.

Oh well I'm going to bed. I'll forget t till tomorrow I guess.

Before I get into this, let me just say that I know that this wiikey flash was not intended for use on the Wii. I just wanted to try it. Also, if you feel this should be in its own thread rather than this one, feel free to move it.

I am building a Wii laptop. It is running system version 4.2u, was softmodded with this guide, and currently has a Wiikey Fusion installed. Prior to this, the wiikey firmware had been updated to 1.5.

As I said, I'm aware this Swiss firmware flash wasn't meant for the Wii but I had an idea. With this firmware, the Wiikey would be running off a FAT32 SD card. Which meant, that SD card could be run from the front Wii slot. The idea was, I could swap the Wiikey's card into the front slot, then use WiiXplorer to copy GC games back and forth from my [eventually integrated] USB hard drive. This seemed like an ideal solution for my laptop, since it would allow a greater number of games available while on the go. With the added compatibility the Wiikey Fusion has over something like Dios Mios Lite (for GC games on Wii).

Well, I tried it. Unfortunately, the Swiss firmware (I used the one from this post) just doesn't seem to work on the Wii. There's some quirks, which I eventually figured out, to getting Swiss to boot at all. But in general, it won't boot games. Here is a link to a somewhat lengthy unlisted video which documents about 50% of the stuff I did tonight (sorry for the quality, it was my cell phone): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=btfXCiG85oE

I tried 5 or 6 games and they all produced the "fragmented" error. No games were able to actually boot. I tried defragging my SD card, but Windows wouldn't defrag the actual ISO files. It was an interesting experiment nonetheless. Now I just need to figure out how to reflash the Wiikey. Going to try the recovery image thing.
