"No signal" (SD-Boot)

Hi!

I've been trying to get SD-Boot running on my Wii for a few days now, using different versions of both Sd-Boot and Gamecube Homebrew Loader. However, as soon as I try to boot the game, it starts to load (apploader, etc.) and then my tv turns black and simply says "no signal". I've tried using different cables aswell, but nothing seems to work.

Any idea what I might be doing wrong?
Thanks!

I've tried using both component and composite, but I still always end up with "No signal". :/ Kinda strange..

Could it have something to do with the sd-card used with the sd-gecko?

level -1,
in my tv phillips 32'' full hd with gamecube component cable, this problem happen when option "FORCE VIDEO MODE (480p) is turned on...
try to put AUTODETECT or other modes. My sd-boot version is 0.4 FINAL (RC4).

emu_kidid, the option FORCE VIDEO (480p) don't work, never... if a game don't support p-scan this option can force a 480p in any case?

Thanks for the suggestion, slashpts! I'll try that!

I've noticed something very strange when changing the settings though; Everytime I try to change something, and I have the "Save settings to SD"-option enabled, it seems that SD-Boot deletes my backup, or rather; makes it just 1 kb in size.. Dunno what to do about that?

Edit: I tried changing the videosettings, and it still goes to "no signal" no matter what i choose.. :(

Ohh, well, we tried...

About the save file, is one for game... The file name is based on your gcm but with sb0 extension!

See ya!

Refusing to give up, I continued to try backups and settings, and all of a sudden one of the games started. I couldn't play it (it was listed on the compatibility-list as "Freezes at Nintendo logo") but at least it didn't give me a "No signal"-message. :) So I guess there is still hope!

Thanks alot the replies, guys! :)

Yeah 480p forcing is broken. I need to inspect the behaviour of the Qoob Pro for this.
