Suppose I should post my intro thread since this forum has a section for it. Found this place recently. I discovered that I could soft mod my GameCube with just an Action Replay and an SD adapter for the memory card slot so come Tuesday, I will be able to run homebrew and stuff on it. So I came here for my homebrew needs.

I go by Tankerbot on some forums but in most places I'm known as Apache Thunder. Made that username back in the days of DesertCombat of Battlefield 1942 (a FPS shooter game and the ancestor of Battlefield 3/4). The Apache Longbow attack helicopter was my favorite vehicle at the time (and still is). Thus I had updated my username to reflect that.

My avatar is indeed a photo of me and my GIF animation was something I made myself. I'm the proud owner of a silver DOL-001 GameCube and had recently softmodded my sister's Wii so that I could convince her to return my GameCube I loaned to her for the past 1 and a half years.

So that's me in a nutshell.

I used to play Desert Combat in Battlefield 1942 quite a bit back in 2002(?) or so.

Haha I suppose it would make a lot of noise if it crashes. But then again anything large that flies would make pretty much the same noise if it explodes on landing or something.

I think DC came out 1 or two years after that. I didn't start playing it until late in the game. Like around 2006 or so.

I ported just about an entire game into BF1942. Battlefield Heroes was something I played with a bit of regularity. I decided that the nightmaps they made were crap and wanted to do my own improvements. Thus the BFH'42 mod was born. That game is my playground.
