I got my game cube to load from WODE but its very touchy......it works when it chooses other wise the gamecube does the "Error has cocured please consult the manual." any ideas? my wode is up to the latest version..... the wiring is correct (i think). I loaded the "configure" iso and "super mario sunshine." Like i said its touchy......Also the audio is very low and when i turn it up its crackly. it has the audio fix from the 5v to the D1 chip on the audio amp thing.... So if any ideas? maybe something i missed?

Upload some pictures, we need to know what's going on visually. Getting constant errors means that you haven't wired it up correctly, wires are too long or connections aren't solid, etc.. Crackly audio sounds like you've screwed something up there too.. again, post pictures.
P.S. megalomaniac, I'm starting to sound like you with all the dot dot dot sentence endings...

audio has nothing to do with wode....
unless the startup IPL (GC MENU) sounds perfect
if menu sounds perfect, then you have wode audio wiring issues...
wode is easier to troubleshoot when it comes to "error has occurred"...
why? because if you get that message on wode, it can only be wiring related
wode will hold the IPL in a "waiting" state until it completes its own startup and perform an autoload or wait for user to decide on a manual load option (wode joystick)

can you provide more details on the audio amp thing? I assume this is a separate mod you're performing on the mainboard separate to the Wode? Are you powering a HDD from the same 5v that you're using for the audio amp? that could be why?

the 5v is from the power pins on the board its being shared with wii drive power and the wode lcd power.....Would sharing the pins cause a problem? i can move it too the mega drive

i dont think it could be sharing 5v 3ways...
ive had a WODE, DVD drive, & IDE-EXI HDD all connected to 5v with no issues

no clue about wode or this audio fix..
but it does sound a bit like the wring wires or bad ground.
Crackly and low sound usually means a bad ground or Really fat wires on audio systems for the most part, "stereo's amplifiers and so on"
Either that or some residual static remains in a variable potentiometer (volume control)
I doubt any of that helps you though.
But if you had a transistor radio/amp/stereo then it probably would help.
