Everytime i try to save it says " save error " and i cant load my bios file from sd or usb. i have the bios file and folder. i have the save folder. whats wrong?! plz help! :(

I can't get mine to save either. It crashes and resets to the HomeBrew channel every time. I have tried everything I can think of. I made folders in the directory titled "saves", "memcards", "memcard", "memcard1", "memcard2" etc. I just can't figure it out!!
I am incredibly new to this, and the only reason I got the PSX emulator to work in the first place was thanks to hours of trial and error and lots of reading.
Can anyone help a girl out??

You're supposed to extract the wiiSX download package to the root of your SD card to have:

sd:/wiisx/bios
sd:/wiisx/saves
sd:/wiisx/isos

on the card. if you're still having errors, please try another non-sdhc card.

STILL DOESNT WORK, i didnt try from my other Sd card yet though.

STILL CANT SAVE ON EITHER SD CARD AND BIOS STILL DOESNT WORK.

I don't know what you're yelling about, the program is free, and coded in our own free time, if it doesn't work for you but it works for so many others, you're clearly doing something wrong. I need more information about what you're doing exactly and more about your Wii and SD card. Does the SD card work in other emulators/applications on the Wii?

yes my other emulators work fine and sorry for the yelling im just angry.

what should i do about this? just use the other psx emulator? (pcsx-r.)

i noticed this when i try to delete my wiisx folder its says ' the directory is not empty ' and wont delete it.

i got wiisx to work. after i figured out that my scph1001 (bios file) was named wrong, i named it correctly and it all started to work.

I still can't get the saves to work. I have the directory named as described, and the SD card has worked with other emulators and games. The BIOS file works, because the game runs fine, it just crashes whenever I try to save it.
I have it all in the root of the SD card, is there supposed to be another folder in the "saves" folder or something? I wish I could just get this thing to work

well..... mines a little weird,(its not perfect) sometimes it saves sometimes it doesnt. on parappa the rapper it saved and then when i played tomba it didnt.

If you're seeing "Failed to save" that's ok, there's an issue with some games where it will report that it has failed but it hasn't.

well wiisx is working perfect for me now....... no problems with it anymore.

what was it named before and what did you rename it to?

It's proabaly better to use a pal bios anyway epsxe and PS2PSXe suggest SCPH-7502 also pal games should be easier to emulate since there 50fps not 60fps ntsc.

what bios should i use for WiiSX ??

by the way, im using scph1001.bin on my WiiSX and i changed the setting to run through bios and i witched the setting above that to "SD" instead of "HLE" and i executed the bios with megaman 8 loaded and it works! (well as much as ive played it does)

and about that mega man x4 frost walrus problem..
(after you defeat frost walrus in MMX4 the game freezes)

does anyone know how to fix that if possible??

SammyBli, try the "Interpreter" Core option for that. Load the game with that setting already set, it will be a bit slower, but it might get you through it.

hmm.. i didnt think of that!
ill definitely try that out, because once i get through that, it'll save anyway.
then i can go back to the other one that runs faster.

i tried using interpreter, and sadly, it didnt get through it

i dont know what else to try! i think its hopeless!
