SD Media Launcher won't load SSBMelee on GCN from slot B
SD Media Launcher won't load SSBMelee on GCN from slot B
I recently bought a Datel SDML and was able set it up using a tutorial (http://bit.ly/1rlFXdp) and downloaded the melee iso file. After a ton of trouble, I was able to make the file work, but it would only load the iso from slot A. Whenever I load the iso from slot B, the screen turns green for a second and turns to a black screen. Additionally, some maps and stages would not load and would just freeze the game, when loading from slot A. How do I fix this problem and how do I make it so that I could save my progress on my memory card? Any advice would be helpful as long as I don't have to open up my GC. Thank you.

SDML does not run ISO files, what are you using AFTER loading SDML to run the ISO files?
You should be using the latest version of Swiss from here: viewtopic.php?f=25&t=1375

Checking out his tutorial I would assume he is using GCoS.
I can only agree with emu_kidid and recommend using Swiss instead. It is vastly superior.

I loaded up "swiss-lz-viper.dol," as the tutorial stated, and then I swag out memory cards to a 4gb SDHC card with melee. After I loaded up melee, I played a few stadium matches and it froze on the stages "venom," Termina: Great Bay," and "pokemon stadium". I did NOT play all the stages. After a while, I tried out adventure mode and I was able to get to Onett before it instantly froze. The stage music kept playing, but the game was frozen. From that point on I just gave up. I'm new to this and I have NO idea what to do. I will try using swiss from that link though. Yeah try using swiss from that link, and make sure you have clean full sized ISO files, not shrunk or compressed or whatever.

So i tried using the newer version of swiss and its still not working. If anything, it freezes up faster than the older version did. I tried reformatting my sd cards and using different isos but still nothing worked.emu_kidid wrote:Yeah try using swiss from that link, and make sure you have clean full sized ISO files, not shrunk or compressed or whatever.

Yes, the above build may have more "beeeeeps" and screeching audio, but reply to inform us if it crashes/etc
