Biohazard File Archive Tool - any alternatives?

Hello, I wanted to try to change songs for NFS:MW and after using Gamecube ISO Tool(http://www.wiibackupmanager.co.uk/gcit.html) I got a few .bin files I needed to extract. After some searching I've found program called BioHazard File Archive Tool(http://www.romhacking.net/utilities/1019/) that seems to be a good choice.

But as I'm a Linux user I can only run it through WINE and as for wine 1.7.34 it doesn't work. Only the window pops up saying:

Code: Select all

InitCommonControlsEx() Fail!
And console output goes like that:

Code: Select all

err:menubuilder:convert_to_native_icon error 0x80004005 getting frame 7
err:menubuilder:convert_to_native_icon error 0x88982F04 committing encoder
Is there any alternatrive program that extracts .bin files or any way to run it on WINE?

Electronic Arts tends to change file extensions from game to game. A .bin file can contain any data, the .bin extension dosn't tell about the type of contained data. Below are some links about EA multimedia formats.

Thank you Ralf, will give it a go.

But still, I wouldn't be able to do much without extracting .bin files and getting to music in EA format, am I right?
