Hej guys,

im trying to load some *.iso using sd boot but whatever i try i can't get it work.
One Version wont reconize my sd card, the one that looks like this: http://www.pdroms.de/media/upload/image ... ion%29.jpg

the other one (sd boot 0.4 i think) takes the sd card just fine, but when ever i try to run the iso i get a black screen saying:
exception (|S|) occurred!

and some fancy numbers...

Im using Datel's SD Media Launcher by the way, no modchip or anything.

Did you try any other SD cards or just the one? I'd recommend using the latest SD-Boot you can find (it's probably floating around on this site someplace).

Using a (other) 2GB SD card and not shrinking the image worked fine, after i formated it as FAT32.
Thanks for taking time, i bet you read alot of "aaah sd boot wont work"-threads.
But while im at it, getting on your nerves, sd boot 1.0 is making progress? ^_^

Just kidding, just wanted to share the info how i got it to work.

Edit: Just noticed that when i save a game it says 19/04/2099 as date, can i set the correct time/date somewhere?

set the correct time in the Gamecube BIOS.

Hmm looks like the battery inside my gamecube dies...

Anyway, is it a common problem that sd load wont work with all sd cards?
I got another 4GB sd card and when i try to run a image i get "exeception (program) occured"
The only one that looks to work good is a 2GB micro sd.
I got about 4 sd cards flying around here. So when ever you need someone to test stuff, i would love to help you out.
It's kinda hard to find some good information about sd load.

SDLoad? that only works with 2GB or less - the cards must not display the "SDHC" logo on them.

SD-Boot 0.4 I must say was pretty good with the SD cards but there were a few oddities - be patient, the next version will be out soon - crappy GUI or not :p

The card does not say SDHC and according to my local computer store and wikipedia it's not a "High Capacity" card.
I think im gonna just for the next version before collecting some more sd cards
