just got them last week, well i was goin to use the wii shop channel but cant because theres a new update for it, do u recommend on updatin it? im on wii menu 4.3 by the way, and i have homebrew CH and the neogamma, will it brick my wii or delete them?

if i cant update then ill just try to sell this points on eBay or somethin lol.. let me know people if its safe to update, THANKS!

Try install it again.

It's a known issue. Either delete your Wifi connection or wait until HBC gives up trying to connect or until it has fully connected.

Out of curiosity, how did you get 8000 points? Xmas present?

Custom Channels packed in Wad files still require fake signed IOS with NAND Access to install them on the NAND, regardless of the sytem menu. But I think they can be installed with AHBPROT too, I'm not sure.

But there are official Channel Installers for FCE Ultra GX and VBA GX available in DOL files. They use an IOS exploit found by the riivolution guys to install and deinstall channels without fakesigning at all. The WiiMC Channel Installer also uses the same exploit.

I think GRUMPYx323 was asking if a channel installer, that uses the same exploit is possible for Wii64. Tantric says he didnt make the Channel Installers himself, so I think you should ask one of the riivolution guys (megazig?) for permisson and find a person with enough brlyt and brlan knowledge, who is willing to make a channel for Wii64 if you guys dont want to make one yourself
