My friend took this from a Non-working cube. It's a ripoff i think of ripper 3(which is already a ripoff). I can't find any info about it though and a wiring diagram would be greatly appreciated.

This is the chip with the (possibly) decrypted cobra BIOS right? If it works there might be a small chance for a dump. :)

Before I attempt it, any ideas on what would be the equivalent (based on the Ripper 3 GC diagram)
V=?
3.3V=?
A=?
RES=?
GND=GND
R=R
W=W

From the Repper3, the solder points VCC, Z and S have solder on it.

3.3 = VCC

The other two, just interchange them and see how you go, they're not going to harm anything, if they're wrong the console probably just won't boot or will boot to the original BIOS.

Tried wiring it last night, unfortunately no LED indicator and I just boot to the default IPL. I've soldered a lot of Xeno GC, so this is more for fun than actually being able to play backups. Would love to see the Ripper 3 bootup that I last saw on my first gamecube (if indeed it contains the same bios as the Ripper3 GC).

Try a few more combinations, I also forget what the reset button does but it may need to be held down to boot?

If I recall correctly the ripper 3 requires lifting a pin on the GameCube. If it still boots with the pin lifted and everything wired up then it's working.
