If this hasn't already been done, I figured I'd try to gather up scattered info on the unlicensed GameCube software. It could include regions compatible with, version differences, dump status, or more not already better spelled out in one place.

Re: Unlicensed disc checklist.
Thanks for this, do the cheat discs contain any videos or anything like that or solely enable cheats on games?
Re: Unlicensed disc checklist.
I'm not familiar with them. Try poking around this Zelda video, at around 3:40 it shows the startup and menus.AC_Orange wrote:Thanks for this, do the cheat discs contain any videos or anything like that or solely enable cheats on games?
You'll also notice Ocarina of Time support not mentioned on the box.

I haven't seen photographic proof of the Metal Gear Solid The Twin Snakes disc.

Edit: Just found Enter the Matrix.

Thanks, so it's just a cheating disc. Pretty useless if you ask me

Re: Unlicensed disc checklist.
Cheap too. The disc label doesn't even tell you its game or region.AC_Orange wrote:Thanks, so it's just a cheating disc. Pretty useless if you ask me

In that video, he mentions that the wavebird is not compatible with the datel discs.theclaw wrote:I'm not familiar with them. This is actually incorrect. The wavebird works, but you have to sync it before the discs boots. Hitting the A button a few times while the GC doing its startup animation is enough to make it work with these discs.
