N64 Recompilation

With the new breakthroughs in N64 recompiling, I wanted to ask, perhaps bring to discussion what this could mean for playing N64 on the GC. I don't know enough about it myself, but speculating on what it will allow, it seems promising that the GC would be able to handle a natively adapted recompiled N64 game? Another process would likely be required, but hearing about the optimization also possible, it may be our best hope.
