Is there any methods to apply cheats for the retroarch on gamcube?

It seems I cannot find cheat option in settings, and how can I apply cheats for retroarch, eg. with FBA core, how to apply cheats?
It will take so much effort that it won't be worth it, in my opinion.
You will have to decrypt the ROMs, inject the codes into ASM, encrypt them again and hope that no exceptions occur. And Retroarch on the GameCube tends to be "sensitive" to modifications.
I was interested in 5 to 10 CPS1 games. But I ended up giving up.
It is much easier to do this with the PC Engine/CD, Neo Geo Pocket and Neo Geo CD.
I am currently doing it with the PS1. And doing this with 210 games was much easier.
