Now that majority of N64 games are decompiled. Is it complicated to have these games ported to gamecube? Just wondering... N64 emulation never was fully performing. Would be nice to see the main games ported to gamecube, especially when ps2 has a near perfect native sm64 port available.

Don't kow if it has been published, but seems that there is already one port at least:

Another more recent, but not that functionnal:

Also, I don't know how much it is playable, but some use the Zelda OOT/Collector disc emulator to run SM64 on the GC:

There is an N64 emulator for Gamecube too, though I never tested the SM64 compatibility (I only used it to try to play Cruisn'USA, which was not a seamless experience, while it was somehow playable).

The zelda emu approach doesnt allow saving. We need a quality sm64 native port now that i have 118 shines out of 120 collected in super mario sunshine :D

There has been a version of Super Mario 64 running on the Master Quest emulator with save support for years. I've been playing with it since 2008.
