Is it possible to patch dvd read commands of an DOL file?
for eg. the dol file of mario kart Arcade GP reads from the DIMM Board i think.

is it possible to patch the dol to read from Gamecube DVD drive?

or are there other possibilities to start this game on dolphin or on a real gamecube or a wii?

dol files can be patched. dvdread commands can be patched (for example swiss does it). crediar is currently working on some patches, that allow booting of this game on wii. dolphin should run this game, too. there is currently no way, this game works on a gamecube. hope this helps.

but dolphin can only run this game with some additional stuff.
firmware.asic (segaboot.gcm) and i think you need also the triforce IPL.
