Re: Game Boy Interface
I still don't get the Select thing, all control schemes have Select mapped to Z. Yeah, you're right, but swapping B&A for Y&B is sometimes preferred. Out of curisoity, was your GBi always programmed with Select to Z, or was that something you added after awhile? You didn't show this, but I'...

@extrems, I'll try 480i mode when I get into the office. Thanks for all your responses.

Re: Game Boy Interface
The issue seems to be with my controller adapter, which is the discontinued RetroUSB one, not the Raphnet. If I enable polling at all, it won't boot, it'll just freeze at the white GB boot screen. Randomly, the controller mode worked for me...then when I rebooted again, it didn't work. I showed a vi...

Re: Game Boy Interface
I was able to try again last night and had some issues. First, I couldn't find the option in Swiss on GBi, only GBi_LL. Next, none of the controller modes worked with my controller adapter. To be clear, if I launched the game with all options checked, except the controller modes, my SNES controller ...

This is the contents of my SD card. The file is there, but I'm not getting any options in Swiss. I'm sure I'm just making a stupid mistake. What else should I try?

Re: Game Boy Interface
I just want to know how to toggle between 4:3 mode and 16:9 mode. No-where in this thread is instruction of how to that mentioned, just that it's a feature. I know it's frustrating and we're all trying to help. Also, you can't "toggle", as there isn't a setting for it. Extrems, I know you...

Re: Game Boy Interface
Darcagn, thanks so much for creating that! Is there any way you can make another one that boots directly to the ULL version? A version with a full GUI boot menu would be the best option, but just having a bootable iso of the ULL version will be more then enough for most people who already have mod c...

Re: Game Boy Interface
Extrems, this works REALLY well. The sound is excellent and everything played very smooth. In fact, it was still smooth, even when stretching to 2.375x. I've tried almost every GB-on-TV solution available and I've never seen one scale this smoothly. Thanks so much for the excellent work. The only pr...

Re: Game Boy Interface
480i suggests you're using a component cable. 240p isn't available when signalling EDTV capability. Right, component. Is it possible to have a startup screen for the disc, where you can select what resolution and aspect ratio you'd like? Also, is there any way to offer button mapping, maybe on the ...

Re: Game Boy Interface
Thanks, but I actually found that same page and tried to make a bootable iso, but it didn't work: It just sat at the GC title screen. I tried testing it by first booting to swiss and then launching the GBI disc I created, but it didn't seem to work right and was stuck in 480i mode (I'm sure that was...

Woah, this looks awesome. It even has 16:9 support! I can't wait to test this thing out!!
I just have a basic mod chip in my GC and don't have an SD loader. How could I burn this to a disc?

Re: 240p for Game Boy Player
I added Swiss 240p captures to the Game Boy Player page, in case anyone's interested: http://www.retrorgb.com/gameboyplayer.html#240p I didn't have much time to spend, so I used a capture card, rather than my RGB monitor and a DSLR. Hopefully I'll have time soon to get real pics. I find when compari...

Re: 240p for Game Boy Player
Wow, that's great news! I tested and it works fine. I'll be able to spend more time with it this week and really give it a playthrough with some GBA and GBC games!
Thanks so much for this!
