Re: GC Power LED flashes once
Sounds like somethings shorting internally then. Have you stripped it down to just the raw GC board + powerboard and turned it on? Yes - with just the power board and main GC board the power lines still shut down after a fraction of a second. Is there any way to force the power board to stay on so ...

Re: Cloning the GameCube component cable
Amazing work, I have only done a bit of soldering, but I think it is about time I buy some new tools for this bad boy. :D Question though, I plan on only using component out. Does anyone have any recommendations for a right angle set of component connectors that can be attached to the board? Or is ...

I've never tried it, but you can reportedly use nunchuck joystick caps or Wii U caps which in my opinion have a similar feel but a better look. Black ones dont yellow either (doritos now acceptable when playing).

But would the smash community really be willing to accept a solution that adds approximately a dozen ...

Re: Cloning the GameCube component cable
This looks pretty legit to me, especially since it's open source. Welcome, and thanks for contributing! And when it comes to the internal soldering, we could always buy connectors so the gamecube has its own rgb ports etc, which makes it even more attractive in my opinion (more work, but I love diy)...

You can use up to 128gb I think, personally using 32gb and working perfectly.
You might be thinking of SD media launcher which has a size limit of 4gb iirc.

Re: Where to buy 8cm DVD-R/DVD+R GC-compatible discs these d
Remember even with good discs a bad dvd burner can make it impossible to play. Mac for example is actually bad to use, and I had better luck with every other computer in the house (I dont have a dvd writer/reader myself).
But yes, those discs are good.

Not ebay, but they ship anywhere usually free. Slow shipping yeah, but it's worth the wait in my opinion. http://www.dx.com/p/maitech-diy-2-x-3w-power-amplifier-board-module-green-331925 These 3w amplifiers are strong and use little power. I chose this one because it came without any buttons, and th...

Re: Nintendont hits version 2: now has working audio streami
What is the highest resolution Nintendont can reach? I know Wii can reach 1080p with hdmikey. But just upscaled, right? It claims to be internal, and if it was just upscaling It would be more logical to just use an upscaler instead of something that goes from usb to hdmi. At least for me. Have no e...

Does it support converting Memory Card to the emulated kind? Because this looks promising to me. What is the highest resolution Nintendont can reach? I know Wii can reach 1080p with hdmikey.

I was looking to replace the Classic Controller with a standard USB HID controller. If the USB connection works, it opens up more interesting options. You will need to interpret the USB signals with a chip or some software of any kind you want and convert different signals and the protocol itself. ...

You need a security bit to open the gamecube too, not sure which size. Other than that you're good to go! Or you can take a Bic pen (clear plastic) remove the ink and tip, and melt over a flame. Then quickly mold it over the screw until it hardens. It's a quick and simple solution since those Ninte...
