Re: GoombaSend - A gba link cable homebrew app
Recompile GoombaSend with the new mb, and make a dummy file to load as a .gb rom, that's what I did for Extrems' GBA as GC controller.

Re: Help understanding cryptic sentence about the Netflix app
But they definitely don't work well on WiiMC at 30fps, even with VBV limits the video slows down.

Help understanding cryptic sentence about the Netflix app
Previously Netflix used a fixed bitrate and reso ladder for every title, earlier this year they stopped using that for most titles and giving each title their own optimized version of the ladder, this change is slightly noticeable on Wii because now a title can play at say 620kbps 720x480 causing sh...

Re: Not64 Second Edition - an Hybrid Heaven emulator
One issue I keep having is my EDTV's showing odd color banding and wavy lines. This happens with anything that's run in 480p and reaches the leftmost part of the screen due to being 720 pixels wide. http://i.imgur.com/LhGzlyC.png http://i.imgur.com/WIuRfiA.png Most Wii stuff never touches that part ...

Re: Game Boy Interface
Playing with the filters some more, what is the difference between normal2x and normalnx? They both look the same to me. I thought normal2x was strictly just oversampling, at least from what I could gather online.
Re: Wiimc
The site is only used for checking updates at startup and YouTube, but the latter hasn't worked for a long time. WiiMC automatically tells you what you need when you select the DVD section, it will say something like: -AHB_prot is not disabled -DVD playback is not supported If it's the first one mak...

Re: Enhanced mGBA
The standard mGBA let's you set stick sensitivity via the config, it doesn't seem to work on Enhanced mGBA.
Will this get added? I just want to make it more snappy.

Re: Enhanced mGBA
I'm getting a code dump when selecting save/load state. Also wanted to request if you could try fixing the audio in general, it's not very noticeable in most games from what I could tell except in SMA2 it seems that in every background track there's an inconsistent stutter or garbled buzz. It was wo...

Wanted to share my pointer texture, it's ripped from a delisted wiiware title. There is also the overlays I use, see readme for descriptions.

Re: Enhanced mGBA
Love being able to customize the pointer, but when I tried to customize overlays I noticed they are darkened but show correctly on TV, and when I made my own overlay it showed up really bright, how do I fix them to look like the provided borders?

With and without arguments I get a code dump when exiting, but only if a rom has been loaded. http://i.imgur.com/Tb6U2Ti.jpg I also wanted to ask, what do think about an auto boot option? Like send an argument to the rom's path and also exit directly without going through the file browser first. I a...

Re: Devolution - Gamecube loader for Wii/Wii U updated to r234
If you dim the display with the wiimote and then exit devolution it will remain like that on (possibly) all homebrew, but returns to normal on official software. I wanted to ask since it looks exactly the same as the burn-in reduction level of dim, is it a hardware thing? Is that why it gets stuck? ...

Re: Game Boy Interface
The Game Boy Player displays games with altered colors doesn't it? Is it just simple brightness being lowered or is it not that simple and is that what the color gamut mapping is for?

Re: Devolution - Gamecube loader for Wii/Wii U updated to r2
I'm getting some rare random disc read errors, in two games so far. Might just be my harddrive, I've included the logs just in case but I haven't been able to get the error while capturing the log. In one game it was straight away after selecting a stage, it just hung there for a few seconds then it...

Re: Sonic CD: US soundtrack for JPN Sonic Gems Collection
The site you linked has all the info you need. I think you could get away with just swapping the entire .cvm file, perhaps the soniccd.dol as well to be on the safe side.
Seeing this gave me an idea, why not just grab the adx tracks and properly loop them? Got to try that sometime.

Re: Devolution - Gamecube loader for Wii/Wii U updated to r2
You'll also find the SJIS font in yoshi's cookie is all messed up because the game isn't running on a japanese console. But that's wrong now, is it not? For Devolution I mean. I've got a few Jap games and after r234 the font started working, which means the save stopped working but it's not really ...

Re: NINTENDONT: WiiU loading Game Cube games
I see how some titles like the NFS games have improved framerates but how come games like Zatch Bell Mamodo Fury play incredibly choppy? I can't imagine Devolution having auto frameskip code but that's exactly how it feels like. Nintendont doesn't have this issue and runs the game smoothly. For exam...

If you need more reasons, my capture card only takes in composite and s-video, my current setup is with component so in short I'd have to hunt for my old cables and rehook everything up. It's not the kind of thing I feel like doing at the moment but if you definitely need to see footage then maybe t...

Re: To the author of Devolution, some proof and a log...
The audio distortion should be enough to prove it, as I said before I could fake the desyncing but the distortion is easy to tell it is being produced by devo, though damn I wouldn't go through such lengths to fake it, I'm here because I'd like it fixed. Same with Sonic Heroes and the Zatch Bell gam...

Proof that there is a desync in Sonic Mega Collection followed by distortion: http://youtu.be/5Bt6jYfurQU And a log: https://www.dropbox.com/s/gjtkemuaaut477m/GSOE.TXT Audio proof only for the distortion, I can't prove the audio desync since I could easily fake that. Enable saving on a demo?
There's a GC disc called Interactive multi-game disc ver. 16, in it there's a separate Game Boy Advance emulator for Mario vs. DK, a very similar build was later distributed in a "Naruto Collection" disc to tournament winners or something like that. Both builds are missing save support and...
