Issues With Swiss and SD Gecko

Sorry if this isn't the right place to post this. I've been having some issues lately. I'm on the most recent version of Swiss. I have a WASP fusion hooked up via a Mega Drive. I also have an SD Gecko in slot B. First, Swiss isn't saving any of my settings at all. I've never really done this before,...

Re: Cloning the GameCube component cable

RetroRGB's weekly podcast said they contacted him and said there was still a manufacturing issue. Shit happens sometimes. Although I agree we should've heard it from Badassconsoles and not RetroRGB.

Re: Cloning the GameCube component cable

GCVideo-DVI 2.2 , now with: Infrared remote support (alternative to Pad) Wii support (don't even think about it unless you found that soldering the Paddata-Via on the Cube was really easy) Oh, and no - I don't have any videos or screenshots available and I can't make them any time soon because my D...

Re: Game Boy Interface

I'm sure this has been asked already (20 pages of text though haha), but how can I changed the default settings? I have a Framemeister and I want it to open at 240P/60FPS and 2X zoom without having to input the setting every single time.

Thanks.

Re: Swiss Nightly Build

I'm a bit of a noob with this stuff. I've had my WKF with a Mega Drive V3 for a while, but I've never updated my Swiss Autoboot. I've had it for about a year lol, I think it's V0.3 or something like that. I saw instructions on how to do that here: http://www.gc-forever.com/wiki/index.php?title=Swiss...

Re: "Disc does not contain valid word at 0x1C"

That sounds like it's an 8GB SD pretending to be a 64GB SD. Yeah, it looks strange. Crummy printing. http://s17.postimg.org/759v93lzz/64_GB_SD.jpg Looked like this when I bought it. Pretty much. I just ran a test on it. 7.7 GByte OK, 54.7 GByte DATA LOST. Shitty SD card. Time for a refund. What sof...

Re: "Disc does not contain valid word at 0x1C"

Aha, I did the MD5 check. One game that didn't work was FZero. On the SD, the MD5 is e20c1c94c13a384d0854e932a1936af9, but the original file is b3e4932731c63b98f0617e6764cc364d. Same with Wind Waker: SD gives me 1813a2f99340e79bd3e3257ffde27965, but original file is d8e4d45af2032a081a0f446384e9261b....

Re: "Disc does not contain valid word at 0x1C"

Check the md5 of the files on the card, compare them to the ones you have on your pc. If you have an SD gecko, try to play the games with it. Also check whether your files are fragmented, wasp doesn't support fragmented files and current Swiss builds can't work around it. Ok, I'm a noob. What's md5?

Re: "Disc does not contain valid word at 0x1C"

The WASP/Wiikey Fusion can only read up to the first 32GB of any card, that's your issue. I'm pretty sure it's actually 64GB, and if you use a 128GB card it will only be able to access the first half of it. That's what I thought too. According to the wiki, it support 64GB. Maybe it supports it, but...

Re: "Disc does not contain valid word at 0x1C"

Well I only loaded about 10 gigs or so, and it still wouldn't read some games.

I probably is a knock off, but it still holds more than 32 gigs. So I'm not sure why it stopped before 10 or so.

Thanks guys :D

"Disc does not contain valid word at 0x1C"

I'm sorry if this has been posted before. I just got my Wasp and Megadrive v3 in the mail (thanks to badassconsoles). I did the solder jumpering that was in the video on his website. I got Swiss v0.3 Rev 296 to start up. It shows icons for the first 10 or so games on my SD card. Those games seem to ...

Re: Cloning the GameCube component cable

As a complete noob in this area, I only somewhat understand what a lot of the github stuff means (and somewhat is being generous to my ability). Not to be unthankful or anything (because that's completely not the case), but how can someone like me use this information to get component video? Could s...

Ordering a Wiikey/Wasp in Canada

Sorry if this isn't the correct place to post. I'm looking to get one of the drive replacements I've read about. I've window-shopped on badassconsoles, but the orders have been backed up for a long while (although I would like the megadrive 3, but that's another thing altogether). I've tried looking...

Re: NTSC Disk Drive in a PAL Console

That's exactly what I'd be hoping to gain. I'll give it a shot, seeing how it would be cheaper to do that than buy a digital port cube and component cable.

NTSC Disk Drive in a PAL Console

I recently put a xeno chip in my ntsc gamecube. Unfortunately, my gamecube is one that doesn't allow for component cables (plus they're so expensive that I probably wouldn't bother buying them). I'm willing to settle with upscaled RGB Scart. So I was just wondering if it would be possible to replace...
