If that doesn't fix it, I had some problems with the voltage from the regulator going to the gpu being too low.

Re: gc wont power on after trimming
That looks like a really rough cut, what did you use to cut it? Usually you would sand all the cut edges and inspect for shorts between the layers. But it's gonna take a LOT of sanding to get in all the jagged crevices. If you do attempt another cut, I highly recommend using a cutoff wheel on a drem...

If you still have the video output port intact, then I would install the wasp first. That would allow you to easily test that it is working, before moving on.

Re: Cloning the GameCube component cable
I've discovered that the gcvideo lite won't work if the gc's gpu is being powered by 1.69V. Well it will, but with a lot of artifacts. After bumping the voltage up to 1.76V the problem went away.

Re: Question about Charge and Play Circuit
I've been looking for a single power port solution as well. I've come across the BQ24170 IC from ti. It looks like it has all the features needed. Unfornuetly I have zero expierence in designing custom circuit boards. But if one of our more technically inclined members could design a board to utiliz...
