Re: Autoboot every time with every SD card (Confirmed!)
It’s been almost 4 years and my setup with wasp mega drive v5 and gc-video dvi and autoboot sd card still works. Nice to see people are still here I actually redid my install the other day, due to it being years later and my experience having grown and I can do a better job of it. I believe this is...

Re: Cloning the GameCube component cable
Thanks! I have two more questions: does it look as good/ better than using component cables? I would imagine slightly more so that's how the GameCube is plus I hear the Wii component is not as great so maybe a lot better and as good/ better than a new model which I hear has slightly better video an...

Re: Cloning the GameCube component cable
I'd just like to report that I've successfully completed the HDMI mod on an RVL-CPU-01 revision Wii. The vias present in the documentation are in different locations on my board revision, but I found it easier to solder directly to the chip anyway. Also, using shielded cables helped stabilise the i...

Re: Swiss Nightly Build
I've finished my major device overhaul for the time being and fixed many bugs, can people try the latest release and let me know of bugs/etc via the github issue tracker . If you have a BBA, wait 5-10 sec before doing anything in Swiss if you're getting random hanging in the menu. Releases are on g...

Re: Swiss Nightly Build
So I've been having problems with the latest build of Swiss on my Wasp. Mainly, that it was an absolute pain to get it to flash on to the Wasp in the first place, it kept crashing just before the process started. Once I finally did get it on there, it crashes when I open any folder on my Wasp SD. I ...

Re: Cloning the GameCube component cable
It's not a big deal, I never use the analogue audio anyway, so it's not like it affects my day to day usage of it.

Re: Cloning the GameCube component cable
I'm thinking that I severed the 12v trace to the audio amp on the middle layer of the PCB when I drilled my hole. Should be a simple enough fix.

Re: Cloning the GameCube component cable
Interestingly enough, after performing this mod, I no longer get sound through the analogue port, the only way I get sound now is through DVI enhanced mode over HDMI.

Re: Cloning the GameCube component cable
I actually drilled a hole in the GC mainboard to route the wires through Poor megalomaniac is going to pass out when he reads this haha I actually left one of the heatsink screw holes empty and routed the controller wire through it. I don't think I have the cojones to drill through the mainboard. I...

Re: Cloning the GameCube component cable
The first thing that comes to mind is "did you wait for the 'verified' message in fpgaconf.exe"? Second, did you make sure that the COM port was the correct one? Thirdly, did you select the right board from FPGAconf.exe's menu? It needs to be the Pluto-IIx, of course. Fourthly, be sure yo...

Re: Game Boy Interface
Hi, I'm having some trouble getting the GBP overlays to work. Do the borders need to be in the original compressed .gz format? Or extracted to .tpl? I put the line --overlay=wkf:/gbi/frame.tpl.gz, also tried extracting the file, putting a relative path instead of an absolute one, nothing seems to wo...

Re: Cloning the GameCube component cable
I think 2.2 might require the IR sensor to be connected else it will fail to initialize correctly. I tested without the IR sensor and ran into the same issues mentioned above of not being able to call the OSD and displaying the checkerboard video.. also the resolution popup box fails to display dur...

Re: Cloning the GameCube component cable
Thanks for that. Just reverted to version 2.1, and it works fine now, OSD appearing upon the correct button input and no visual distortion. No idea why 2.2 doesn't seem to play nicely with my board.

Yeah, same problem. I don't know why it's not working, but do you have an archived version of 2.1 that I can roll back to?

Re: Cloning the GameCube component cable
Okay so I just updated my Pluto II to the newest 2.2 version of GCVideo, and it's completely broken. I have a checkerboard pattern on the output visuals, and the overlay won't appear with the controller button combination anymore.

Re: Cloning the GameCube component cable
Hey Unseen, purely out of interest, are you going to keep releasing updated versions of the GCVideo firmware, even after the release of Mega's plug and play version, despite their lack of means to update like us with Pluto boards can?

Re: Game Boy Interface
Is there any way to get command line arguments to work with the LL and ULL versions?
If not, is there a way to adjust the colour on the regular version so that they aren't too pale?

In that case, you need a lid switch.
