Re: Controller ports not working
Yep, just seen that by opening it. That's sad. But hey, there're fitting ones around the web. This one looks very decent to me . 12 lanes and 13mm wide :) EDIT: Gonna try if i can find out which lane is broken to bridge it with another cable[/quote] if all else fails you could use kynar wire or simi...

Re: Controller ports not working
It looks like the Led is showing signs of wear.. Im not sure exactly if that also links into the controller data line.. but if you see no other signs of wear/broken traces it would be a good place to start. Btw Badassconsoles.com sells working controller boards for a buck. it may take a couple of we...

Re: Yet Another WiiKey Wiring Solution
FYI this has been a known option since 2010 I had a feeling, I knew it wasn't anything groundbreaking but from the posts I've seen it wasn't mentioned so I made the post in hopes to somewhat contribute to other newbies who may not have thought of/seen this method. Like I already said I'm sure it's ...

Yet Another WiiKey Wiring Solution
Hello fellow modders, So looking through all the posts regarding how to wire the FFC cable the the Gamecube I got an idea I'd like to share with you all. The two methods I've seen so far involve either soldering directly to the FFC itself or using a breakout board and moving the cable to one end so ...

Re: Wasp Fusion freezing
I'll give that a shot. I can just put the latest version on the sd card and boot the cube? I was under the impression that the wasps shipped from badass consoles were with the latest software? Thanks for the quick response I'm kinda freaking out with the wasps being so hard to come by.

Re: Wasp Fusion freezing
Yea that's pretty much it.. After the trim everything else is working correctly. The wasp fusion blinks on start up so I know it's getting power. It even recognizes the roms on the sd card. The only thing I haven't wired up yet is the mem card but that shouldn't affect the operation of the wasp righ...

Wasp Fusion freezing
Hello I'm new here and currently working on a GCP. I first started with the Minimalist Cut. wired up controller, Wasp fusion, mem card, Monitor, and all that jazz. everything was working like a charm. I then decided that the minimalist cut was too large so I cut down to the Medium cut. I wired every...
