Re: Gbihf 1080i/cmpv preset with bitfunx component cable

I did notice jitter on my Datapath VisionRGB-E1 (direct connection), but not on the other tested devices. I didn't bother with the RetroTINK-5X Pro since that's not a sane use case.

Re: Game Boy Interface

That's the auto-phase doing funny things as usual, but it looks like you forgot to turn off chroma interpolation on your Prism, which would confuse the auto-phase.

It can only be mitigated in GBI and GBISR.

Re: Pokemon Channel (GCN/WIIRD/PAL)

Swiss is moving the FST downward in memory, so that kind of code wouldn't work.

Re: Pokemon Channel (GCN/WIIRD/PAL)

Due to its age, the game would only support MMCv3 cards (i.e. a subset of SDSC cards).

Re: Shuddering display on GBISR after scale up

It's impossible that you've tried 480i120 since it doesn't work over S-Video and requires a 31 kHz CRT.

You need to display in 480i.

Re: Swiss version 0.6 is released

It's very simple since all we do is emulate the hardware device. We know nothing about the filesystem.

I personnally think having more virtual memcard files would lead to quite a mess to manage, what would be even nicer would be virtual memcard interfacing straight use of save.gci files off the SD when saving on a per-game basis.
Do you have any idea how complicated that is?

Once the feature has stabilized. It's a trivial UI change otherwise.

GBIHF doesn't support overlays and isn't meant to be used in your setup.

You can emulate memory cards in both slots.

Re: Enhanced mGBA

Neither Not64 nor emGBA can run in Dolphin. They fail the Wii application heuristic.

The GameCube versions hang due to an emulation inaccuracy.

Do you have a RVT-R Reader? You can't dump NR discs otherwise.

Re: Game Boy Interface

Well, basically, everything? Note that GBIHF has limited use cases and yours isn't one of them.

In GBISR, it does mean a frame of latency.

This plays almost perfectly the way it is, however there is still 1 frame of buffer delay so it's not as perfect as a real Gameboy.
Double buffered in GBIHF doesn't actually mean a frame of latency. When the clock phase allows, the buffer is filled just ahead of the scanout.

Re: Game Boy Interface

If by $10 you mean $40 + shipping, sure. I'd need to order connectors and 75Ω coaxial cable stock to build one. I'd also need to design and order PCBs since I can't have those passives flapping in the breeze. I also still need to add a fume extractor to my setup.
