Re: Game Boy Interface

Well it isn’t really either RGsB nor YPbPr, but it’s clearly containing some sync signal on the G pin. When I tried it just now, it was harder to get sync, and unlike first time there was jitter and other abnormalities. I had to play around a bit with sync threshold, more or less reverting to defaul...

Re: Game Boy Interface

Hm, guess there is some weirdness in the transmission to the multi-out then. I’ll have to wait for my GCVideolite from BAC then, hopefully it won’t take another 1.5 years...

Re: Game Boy Interface

Ok, but does the 480x360 require output of 59.95, or it could be tweaked to be more similar to an even 22.5 kHz/60Hz?

Re: Game Boy Interface

Right, I found I could get sync at 960x360 by switching to RGsB or YPbPr. But it’s kinda broken that way (very dark or no colour) still interesting that it tries to send something. Interestingly though, there is no jitter and the ouput is an exact 22.5 kHz, 60 Hz. So I wonder if there is anyway some...

Re: Game Boy Interface

Nice work Extrems. 960x360p mode works very nicely for pixel perfect scaling with the OSSC. I modified the OSSC firmware for sampling at 240x360 optimized and then upscaling to 1280x720 and 1920x1080. I cannot get 960x360 to sync on the OSSC. 480x360 works when increasing the sync slice threshold, ...

Re: Game Boy Interface

Added volume control. Added per-channel settings where possible. Changed volume to 75% to mitigate clipping with AVE-DOL. Fixed framebuffer clearing for 576i. Thanks for this! Though you forgot to update the .dcp files with the new settings. :) I edited my own and it works fine now. Any chance of i...

Re: Game Boy Interface

I have a question regarding the audio. The audio out level is very high compared to my other consoles and it sounds kinda thin and scratchy (high frequency noise). Now, I guess this could simply be how GBA audio should sound like (I never owned one myself), but playing GBA games on a DSlite with hea...
