If you do replace them, get 2mm thick thermal pads. I have tried 3mm and it works, but i cant say if its any better then 2mm.

Can someone please mark out on a photo where i can safely pull both 12 and 5 volts from the gamecube mobo safely? I don't plan to make a portable or anything like that, but i need to tap into those volts for a hot swap vehicle project. Thanks!
