Re: DSP To MP3?
I believe that's supported by VGMStream. If it is, you can open it in WinAmp, and then output them to WAVs via WinAmp WavOut plugin (whatever it's called). Then, simply convert them to mp3s.

Re: Everdrive64
I have a 64drive, and I love it. When the Everdrive first came out, the 64drive was superior compatibility wise. However, now, both are pretty on par with each other, last I checked. Only noticeable advantage to the Everdrive is that it has support for Tooie while the 64drive still does not (unless ...

Gamecube Running on the WiiU
http://youtu.be/uj2rymJVzwQ First of all no this isn't DIOS MIOS because that would never work. This is written pretty much from scratch and there are still many issues especially with the sound that's why I overlayed a nice music track. There is obviously no way to use a GC controller on a Wii U an...

Re: Access the Gameboy Player?
So, all that's really going on is that there's a middle-man between the Gamecube and Gameboy Advance that basically translates everything between them?
If that's the case, well, that's a shame.

Access the Gameboy Player?
I was curious to know if it's possible for the Gamecube to access the Gameboy Player via homebrew. I know that the Gamecube needs some kind of hook (the GBP disc) to access it itself, but is it possible to do it via a homebrew program? I did five-minute searching to see if libogc has methods for acc...

I remember when that appeared on TehSkeen. Good times.
Interesting to hear that you have it, emu. Any reason why the game compatibility is so low, or were those the only games you've tried on it?

commandline? right click on HDD select Format and then use Fat32!!! No tools needed only brain.exe On my copy Vista, they don't have the option in the GUI. It was suggested to use the command line by the internet, since then you don't have to download anything extra (being that I already have utili...

When i tried formatting under Windows using the commandline, it told me that my drive was too large. So, I'll try a different application when I get the chance.

IDE-EXI Troubles
So far, I've only gotten the thing to work once some time ago (and my gcms only appeared as corrupted). I thought it was probably just the harddrives I was using, so I waited until I got another. So, now, with the latest version of Swiss, things still aren't working. Stats: Make: M.N Connection type...

It has a NES emulator built-in, and I would imagine you can compile other (already made) emulators for it. Anyone try ScummVM?julius wrote:Does this cart support emulators, you know, like NES emulation?
I ordered my 64Drive near the end of August, but I'm hoping it'll get here soon.

Re: Happy 10th Anniversary For The Gamecube!
On launch day, I went to K-Mart, but they were out of stock. However, they had games, so I picked up Luigi's Mansion. The next day, I found one at Toys 'R Us, and got the black model, as all my friends had the trademark purple 'cube. My Gamecube is currently in my dorm room, functioning as a classic...

Re: Gamecube component cable
This is some great stuff. I'll be checking this thread quite a lot.
I've actually been becoming tempted to plunk down the money for a cable on eBay, but if you manage to make one to sell for a cheaper price, I'll love you.

Re: CleanRip v1.0.4 Gamecube Edition
I didn't remove it, I just guessed that may have been a requirement to reinitialize it. It may have been just a screw up for that single instance. I'll give it a go later today to see if it does happen again. I'm using a 4GB SDHC card with a normal SD-Gecko. EDIT: Yeah. Happened again. All I did was...

LM has no 60Hz support, only PAL 50Hz. It's one of the few Gamecube games to not have both 50Hz and 60Hz.Ashen wrote:You can play the PAL version on an NTSC cube. Though without having some way to force the video mode the screen flickers and the colors are washed out when playing.

Re: CleanRip v1.0.4 Gamecube Edition
Backed up my copy of Pac-Man World 2 just fine. Shrank the ISO and tried it in Dolphin, and it worked! However, I encountered a problem when I tried to rip another disc. I finished ripping Pac-Man, hit "A" to continue, CleanRip asked me to select which slot, SD Gecko was in slot-a, and the...

Re: CleanRip v1.0.4 Gamecube Edition
This'll come in handy instead of having to hook up my GC to the network. I've been using SoftDev's tool for all my dumps since forever, and I don't have my GC in a ready position to dump comes via the BBA that often anymore. I'll test this out later tonight! Thanks, emu_kidid! Any chance of GC EXI->...

Re: 64drive by Retroactive
Alright, that's great to hear (since BT is my favorite N64 game
). I'm thinking about ordering one of these later today, and I just wanted to be sure that there was a least an easy way to make it work.
Is there a place to get the patch? Or, is that up to Google?

Re: 64drive by Retroactive
I was reading that Banjo-Tooie was having issues, but it was apparently fixed. However, there wasn't a clear answer of if the 64Drive cart will support BT natively or will require a different chip or something of the sort.

I've been looking at this since it was announced. I'm still on the fence to pre-order it, but it looks like a pretty solid device.
Tell me how it goes when yours arrives. Do you know if there's going to be like one run of these things?

Re: Swiss 0.1
Finally got around to trying my harddrive setup again, and still no luck. Swiss says that all my files are fragmented, and I'll get a code dump screen if I try to boot anything.
