Thanks guys for the information, I had no idea the xeno chip will corrupt the dump in a way. The iso remains playable.

Re: CleanRip v2.1.0
I am new to using CleanRip and would like to understand if I placed the files correctly on the SD card. (Using GC + Xeno with Swiss 0.683 screenshot https://i.imgur.com/NCz3V7y.png In fact I did try to dump an original disc (Biohazard 0 Disc 1) without having the DAT file from redump.org on the SD c...

Re: Swiss Nightly Build
Resident Evil 0 loads just fine for me with Swiss 563. Indeed I can't get audio to work with Super Mario Sunshine.

Region compatibilty between NTSC-J GBP and PAL GC
HI, I own a PAL GC w/ Xeno and plan to get a Game Boy Player. However based on my location Japan GB Player would be easier to find and surely cheaper.
Can both be paired up regardless of the region?
Thanks

Re: Question: available solutions to load homebrew
Thanks for your reply and the useful information!
Is WASP the only ODE solution for GC? I will definitely keep a lookout for it.
There is the wasp custom from badassconsoles that seems to be the ideal device.

Question: available solutions to load homebrew
Hi, I have been doing a fair bit of reading on the forum regarding devices or modchip that would allow to load homebrew via SD or USB thumb drive. There seems to be no device readily available such as an ODE at the moment. I am basically trying to understand what are the available options nowadays t...

Re: XenoGC Can't read backups.
Yes I agree with you although I can see that a fair number of games won't work when loaded from a SD card.

Re: XenoGC Can't read backups.
I am using unbranded China made mini-DVD. I had to adjust the DVD drive pot from 198ohm to 142ohm just to be able to load swiss. However a game I burnt will keep giving errors after booting even when tweaking the pot down to 100ohm. Hence I cannot recommend buying this brand. https://imgur.com/YI749...

How to check Network Adapter DOL-015 without game
Hi, I've bought a cheap adapter on YAJ deemed to be not functioning / Junk. I took a leap of faith that it could be a minor repair and aside from the Ethernet connector being bent I could not see anything else. Is there a way to check its working condition without a game that requires an internet co...

Transfer Game Save from NTSC to PAL memory card
Hi, that would be my first post here on the forum.
I'd like to know if there is a way to transfer game save from a memory card formatted for NTSC-U to a memory card formatted for PAL.
Not too familiar yet with mod for GameCube, both my PAL and NSTC GC are equipped with the cheap Xeno chip.
Thanks
