The Pal Gamecube natively outputs RGB signal, in the US, it's the main reason to get one.
Is it that difficult to find a CRT TV with RGB inputs? Is it easier to get one with Component inputs?
RGB cable may be harder to find than a component solution, but cheaper.

Re: How would I find 60hz code address?
I wonder why is there recently so many requests about 60Hz AR codes? Second, why would you need 60Hz code on an NTSC native game? Third, your GC doesn't need hardware modding as you have a modded Wii (hope this is an RVL-001) to set up a game save exploit, then use SWISS and won't need any A...

Re: Component to VGA Adapter
If you're stuck with a Wii, there are plenty on Alix, around 50¢ Including shipping, just type "component to VGA".
If you have a GameCube, get a GCVideo HDMI adapter and an HDMI to VGA adapter for the third or the fourth of the price of the OEM component cable.

Did you put the needed W3D datafiles in the folders?
The homebrew is just the game engine, you have to get the files from an original copy of the game.

Where do you put your SD card?
Some of the older homebrews only works with the SD adapter and card in the slot a, that may just be the problem.

Are you sure the way the NTSC disc's emulator is fine with PAL ROMs?
What's wrong with the PAL version? Why won't you just use the PAL disc ISO? It runs in 60Hz anyways, so…

Re: RAM Disk device since Swiss v0.6r1534
I'm sorry to ask so many "dumb" questions, I think I have read all those information from somewhere and I would be able to find all the answers to those by myself if only I would remember where it was. I see "SDRam" in the YAGCD, so would we just be able to wire a 32MB SDRAM PC 1...

Re: RAM Disk device since Swiss v0.6r1534
The 2 banks are addressed contiguously no matter their size. The Game Boy Player is 16 MiB of expansion ARAM. Yes, so we may be able to add 16MB internally in the GBPlayer to get to the maximum 32MB of the dedicated bank. I know a little about memory adress/data buses mux, still, I can't figure out...

Re: RAM Disk device since Swiss v0.6r1534
32 MiB should cover everything reasonable (i.e. not the factory/service discs) and there isn't really any point going smaller. Does the GBPlayer's memory adressing allocation allow enough area for an integrated ARAM expansion in it? Would it be possible then to use it? Well, in YAGCD, I found that:...

Re: GCvideo - Dolby Surround and Dolby Pro Logic over HDMI
I have searched on the subject lately, and didn't manage to find anything except analog input amps to decode Dolby Surround/Pro Logic sound and digital input amps to decode DDS/DTS... Some amps can process both, but still, analog formats have to enter in analog form, while digital formats have to en...

Re: RAM Disk device since Swiss v0.6r1534
… Did somebody ever successfully performed such a mod? Does the internal memory mod still allow the use of the GBPlayer? Will it be of any use to get closer to Triforce titles support? Would 32MB on the high speed port result in masking overlapping memory space, or would it really add the whole 32M...

Nothing much to build, apart from an SP1 or SP2 or even slot a or b (curious about which exactly is possible) connector adapter to the module you want to use. I have asked the question in the Swiss's release topic, and given the answer that i got, its for everything except in-game network function a...

Re: RAM Disk device since Swiss v0.6r1534
This has been discussed somewhere, but memory can be expanded, hardware-wise, via the opera DS expansion RAM cart or maybe any other third-party one in the GBPlayer. Technically, a RamDisk can take place into the internal machine's memory, as is was possible on the Atari ST or pre-X system Macintosh...

Re: RetroArch
Each emulator should have its own settings that you have to save once set, don't you use different emulators for GB and GBA? I don't really understand, you're using different displays, or you want to manually force an image ratio or another on the TV settings? Retroarch is not the most easy to use e...

Re: Gamecube disc read errors, even after pot tweak
What shall I do? I do want to use optical media, I do not want to use SD cards. My gamecube wasn't heavily used. I own it since I am a child. There is nothing but good reasons to give up on using DVD-Rs and go for SD cards: - Expand your console lifespan. - Quieter operation. - No hassle ISO copy. ...

Re: SoftMod - New Action Reply Disc
The SD media launcher may work, but you probably will go on to another way of loading SWISS rapidly. Plus, the µSD card adapter is known for its bad quality. At least, this will be a way to get access to SWISS first to set up any other exploit you may use in the future. Memcards are not hard to find...

Re: SoftMod - New Action Reply Disc
There are many games that can be exploited these days, don't bother with SD media Launcher if you can get ahold of a RVL-001 WII just to put the saves needed on a memcard.
