If you are using exfat, what you can do is partition the SD card to have a fat32 partition as well and point your settings to load to it.

Yeah, but wouldn't adding the place to look for files just be adding onto the place that looks for the sdgecko anyways. Like some sort of Linux bash code and init file?

Re: New Life for older Emulators like CubeSX
Another thing I'd like to do is play around with the media player that was built for gamecube, but sadly there is no SP2SD2 support either
I'm not a very good coder, however I'm an adequate scriptkiddy if someone could point me in the right direction.

New Life for older Emulators like CubeSX
I've found that I can format two partitions on my SP2SD2. The first I have as exfat fs in order to put all my dol files and gamecube isos, the other is formatted in fat32 for the emulators that support reading from the sp2sd2. Re: XenoShell Custom Green Splash Screen after XenoGC Port
What about using an ic big enough to store a SWISS dol boot file and writing a button combination to load said bootfile in place of the auto load for dvd? Even better fool the dvd rom drive into thinking there is the swiss boot disc in the tray if the button combo is pressed?

Re: Greetings, has this been tried?
Better Idea, I just found out about the Build-Ur-Own-Xenogc... is there a way that I can mod the source code to build a swiss.dol and boot that by pressing a button combo?

Greetings, has this been tried?
I'm a relatively new modder here with general understanding of how gc modding works. I was curious if there was a way to use the optical logic board (the one where you solder the xeno mod chip to) and solder an sd card reader to the board and use the xeno mod chip to boot to sd instead of optical di...
