Changing the region of a GBA transfer file?
I've got a special distribution iso from SEGA in the early 2000's they used at special events that would allow you to transfer an exclusive in-game item to Sonic Adventure DX or Sonic Adventure 2: Battle. This content as I've found is only transferable to Japanese copies of these games. I'm trying t...
Re: Qoob Chip
Does anyone have a clear picture of the 4 blue wires on the Qoob Pro chip? I lost my plug with the wires and the cable that connects the USB a few years ago and I wanted to wire it by hand and install it, only problem is that I cant find a good picture of the plug with the 4 blue wires on it to make...

Re: Replacing thermal compound
I've done it with no issues. I would try it for an hour or so before you screw the shell back on. The GC has a thermal protection circuit built in.

Re: Wii Disc drive spoof. Need help Emu_kid/Mega/Ashen???
I wasn't trying to say the WASP took up a ton of room but it seems like the goal of this would be to cut away the area with the 32 pin connector for the sake of having the knowledge that a Wii can be cut there and use in a portable. And, if something can be developed on the software end, that's $25 ...

LOCtronics goal though is to remove the need for even the 32 pin connector so that he can get the Wii even smaller.

2003 GameCube Catalog Disc Findings
So I recently bought a 2003 Mail Order Catalog Disc on a whim that's meant for the GC from eBay and I decompressed it and it uses almost no proprietary GC files... it uses .html, .png, and .jpg for most everything. I thought this was very interesting and I was wondering if this could be of use. I ha...

Re: Wii Disc drive spoof. Need help Emu_kid/Mega/Ashen???
I do wonder if a smaller spoof drive board could be designed that plugged into the 32 pin connector just to save space.

Re: Wii Disc drive spoof. Need help Emu_kid/Mega/Ashen???
From my understanding, the way that the custom software (i.e. Nintendont or WiiFlow) loads via SD or USB is they initialize the disc drive and then once the drive is "reading", the software, whatever it may be, loads the .iso from the SD or USB in place of the disc and needs the disk drive...

How to use ISO patching?
Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places but I can't seem to find any info on how to use this function. The source code says I need a .patchx but I couldn't find anything to make one of these files. Also where on the SD gecko would the .patchx go once it's created? For context, I'm wanting to load cust...

Re: Average going price of Pearl hardware?
Just the cube or the controller included? How rare are these too? I know they weren't limited edition but I've never seen many listed at one time and I can't find much info on roughly how many are in circulation.

Average going price of Pearl hardware?
Hey guys! I just bought a Pearl GameCube and a Pearl controller bundle out of box for $90. I've been wanting one for awhile so I got it it regardless, but I was wondering what the normal going price is for the console and controller. I couldn't find many prices to compare it to so I figured I'd ask ...

Re: How to recompile .dol source codes?
I was able to get brosexec to recompile in the command line but not Swiss or GCMM. I was getting error about make.exe not being found and it said a bunch of .tpl files were missing. GCMM said it was missing a file named "ft2build.h" What else should I provide? I'm new to this like I said s...

How to recompile .dol source codes?
New to coding and stuff and I wanted to make some simple edits to some dol sources I found. Mostly graphic stuff and certain lines of text to match my portable. I've installed Devkit Pro and have tried to recompile the unmodified source in Programmers Notepad but I keep getting errors. Did I skip so...

Re: Questions regarding IPL, SD gecko, and harddrives.
The reason I asked that is now that Swiss is bootable via the SD gecko through SSBM could the IPL be replaced on a vanilla cube so you don't have to go through the process every time?

Questions regarding IPL, SD gecko, and harddrives.
I've never really been able to understand a lot of what the YAGCD meant so I figured I would transfer my questions here. • Can the IPL be overwritten? If not how come? And if it is could the IPL have code that boots Swiss from the SD gecko? •what stops SD Gecko ISO emulation from being full speed? •...
