Re: XenoGC Full Source Code
atmega has a bootloader so by default, xeno also has a bootloader when the chip is set to program mode (RESET to GND) in the source code release are 4 (2 are the same, so 3) versions of xenoflash.dol the flash loader already contains the required hex file built into the dol. 1. use your normal dol l...

Re: XenoGC Full Source Code
the Xeno or Atmega8 (Xeno clone) can be upgraded/downgraded (or initial programming for Atmega) using the various xenoflash.dol's included in the source.. In order to put the microcontroller in program(write) mode, RESET pin (1) must have constant contact with GND during the write process. The print...

Re: XenoGC Full Source Code
Hello This might be a little offtopic but is there another way to use the flasher DOL to flash the XenoGC to 2.0 without the need of bridging the GND to any of the XenoGC letters? I am not sure how it works, but maybe using uldorel to disable the chip before it starts to flash? Thank you. The purpo...

Re: Wode Gamecube Help & Questions
i dont have experience in wode connection, but as far as electrical connection for your ground situation: ground is ground.. they should all be tied together.. i dont think NOA would allow floating grounds in their design..(too many safety issues when kids are involved) check to make sure all ground...

Re: iv been seeing alot of home made modchips (more info nee
how much progress have you made on this project?
have you successfully compiled the source?
do you have a xilinx chip?
you only want the ability to add an epprom to the existing xilinx chip?

Re: iv been seeing alot of home made modchips (more info nee
The fastest method would be to use the available XenoGC code to make your own modchip. Only drawback, the chip you propose is not compatible since the released XenoGC code was compiled for the Atmega8 series and cannot be cross-compiled at this time...This means no current possibility to use any typ...

Re: Memory Card Slot Speed
It seems there is a global misunderstanding regarding class types of SD card. A class type defines the write speed only , not the read speed. For Swiss does a write speed of an SD card not matter. Important is the read speed. You can have the same read speed with a Class 2 SD card and a Class 10 ca...

Re: Memory Card Slot Speed
just to add further info for anyone who may have been wondering about the SDcard class type... A card's class is designated by the "minimum" rated speed per SD specifications..for example: Class 2 = 2MB/s Class 4 = 4MB/s Class 6 = 6MB/s Class 10 = 10MB/s so purchasing a class 4 card which ...

Not sure if anyone else had any issues trying to use this emu but it really amazed me how little or no documentation I could find on the web concerning how to use this emu. Maybe its common knowledge for some who have been around for a while, maybe its not...but for new guys like me, its not common ...

Re: out of the closet
I used an Arduino to flash the XenoGC sourcecode to an Atmega8 L . Take care, an ordinary Atmega8 might need a higher voltage than the GC drive can supply! Thank you for the reinforcement, steffen. Your post on the atmega was also motivation for me to get of my ass and start dev again. As you state...
