Re: Are things going more or less smoothly with Wii64/WiiSX?

It's now almost the end of september, 2014!
It's been 7 years now since the project inception!
Quite a long road.

I'm just passing by to say thanks for the work and the great emulators.
Hope all is going well with the upcoming versions of the emus :)

Re: Extracting saves from Legend of Zelda: Collector's Editi

You're right, ZELDAZ does appear later, I had the strings mixed up. ZELDAZ is still probably a better way to get to the general area without knowing the exact offset since it saves you hitting false positives. I updated the original post to correct this error. Like I said in the first post, the ZEL...

Re: Extracting saves from Legend of Zelda: Collector's Editi

With credit to einstein95 on Badnik IRC, you can find (almost) the beginning of an Ocarina of Time save by searching for ASCII "ZELDAZ", which occurs at 0x07 in an original N64 OoT save . This can be found quite easily in an extracted GCI save file from the Collector's Edition, and means ...

Re: Devolution - Gamecube loader for Wii/Wii U updated to r2

Whenever I use the standalone Devo app (no usb loaders), the list of the games is not displayed at all.
I have all my games inside folders in /games/
Is it normal that Devo doesn't recognize games inside any folders?

when i leave the L-stick untouched it acts like it is very slightly being nudged left. and yes, i have a black CCP. and also using Not64 . Re: Devolution - Gamecube loader for Wii/Wii U updated to r2

I have one problem with RE4 on Devo. No matter what settings I use, the vertcal lenght of the game doesn't cover my entire screen, while the horizontal one does. I tried using different video settings, widescreen, everything and is still the same. It looks as if I were watching a cutscene with two b...

Re: Nintendont hits version 2: now has working audio streami

I know you are tired of this tueidj but removing the AP would really help Devolution ... the only people we encourage with AP are pawnshops, resellers and used game stores. Good GC games are getting really expensive atm :P You did an incredible job with Devo and It's sad that not a lot of people ca...

Re: Nintendont hits version 2: now has working audio streami

Cool. Thx 4 the information. If Fix94 could get the Wii U Pro Controller to work with Nintendon't it would be awesome. I'd use devolution, but I sold my Wii before buying a Wii U so I have no opportunity to confirm my backups to my originals. And since the f****** WiiU drives is not compatible with...

Re: Nintendont hits version 2: now has working audio streami

No retail disc support? No memory card support? What the hell? Afaik Nintendont was created primary as a GC games solution for the Wii U (the Wii already had DIOS MIOS). Seeing that the Wii U lacks memory card slots and its drive lacking compatibility with GC discs, it's no wonder that Nintendont d...

Re: Nintendont hits version 2: now has working audio streami

Does it support converting Memory Card to the emulated kind? Because this looks promising to me. What is the highest resolution Nintendont can reach? I know Wii can reach 1080p with hdmikey. Yeah it supports emulated Memory Cards. As for the highest resolution, for Gamecube games I am not sure, per...

Re: Nintendont hits version 2: now has working audio streami

No retail disc support? No memory card support? What the hell? Emulated Memory Card for sure, which is in no way a hassle, and retail disc? I have to remind you that the main purpose this app exists is for those that have either a Family Wii, Mini Wii or Wii U which doesn't allow GC discs at all......

Re: CCP problem with Wii64.

Libogc just assumes the newer classic controllers are naturally centered and doesn't do any min/max tracking, so you'll find all apps that don't do some sort of calibration of their own will have the same issue. Is there any way in which I could compile the source code of those with another library...

Re: CCP problem with Wii64.

Sorry for the many replies. I've been trying to fix this issue and it looks like it happens in more than one emu (WiiSX, Wii64, QRevPAK also). The CCP works perfectly fine in any other emu or GC/Wii game, only on those ones I get a slight down movement on the sticks. I did some research and found ou...

Re: A wii64 solution for all you complainers

Sure, because having a computer is a lot more comfortable than using a console that enables different controller options (up to 4 and even combined between NGC, Wiimote+Nunchuck, Classic Controller and CCP) and from which you can switch to other different apps or emulators. Is good to see that the W...
