Re: Wired wavebird?
since you only like the color and shape of the wavebird and do not need the wireless capabilities, then why not transplant the PCB from a wired controller rather than trying to solder wires

Re: Cloning the GameCube component cable
talking to shockslayer it appears his major concern is how to "easily" explain lag or lack of lag to people in the smash community who would otherwise be quick to cry and complain about lag from gcvideo without even having tried it for themselves but would also be so quick to dismiss it. a...

Re: Cloning the GameCube component cable
The first person to mass produce those boards... woah, if nothing else, you could sell one to every member of the competitive smash community. But would the smash community really be willing to accept a solution that adds approximately a dozen pixels of lag? ;) ^^^^ i think this is shockslayers con...

Re: i got MegaDrive V3 in the post today and i already have 2 WASP's , problems
since your WASPs were not purchased thru BadAss Consoles they do not have swiss preflashed flashed onto them. Instead the WASPs contain the factory wiikey menu firmware. Many people unfamiliar with how the wiikey menu works have a hard time trying to use the firmware to load anything. Best advise, u...

Re: Xeno Modchip Installation Problems
did you validate the drive was functional before you soldered on xeno? no sense in installing to a drive that didnt work to begin with... if the drive was verified functional prior to installation, then what was the impedance set to? (ohms measurement) did you adjust the pot after you installed xeno?

Re: Shuriken Video
how does the Shuriken Video display the interlaced picture? If you have your TV manual around have a look at the HDMI spec its normally at the back of the manual. Older TV's dont like anything under 480p as the shuriken video dont have line doubling the image looks rubbish. If you have a newer TV t...

PAL RGB scart does not allow progressive mode (480p)
just something to keep in mind if for any reason you decide to start playing GC titles you will be limited to 480i

Re: Getting a N64 emu to work (DVD) | Viper
xeno cannot be flashed with swiss internally like a viper / qoob it can only boot original, backup, or homebrew DVDs so with xeno you will always be required to have a working dvd drive and a correctly burned backup/homebrew DVD WKF/WASP/WODE can eliminate the DVD drive and use on board storage (SD ...

Re: Getting a N64 emu to work (DVD) | Viper
you should look into purchasing an SD Gecko adapter.
All you will need is swiss flashed onto viper and you can load homebrew from SD card.
some emulators will freeze at boot if no SD card is detected to access a configuration files or bios file

Re: Force 240p for dols in Swiss?
xeno requires a DVD to inject its code to read homebrew discs or backup discs
currently there is no way to directly load from SD card with xeno, you will need a swiss DVD
