Re: My proposal of BACKGROUND for new SD-BOOT
It looks pretty cool! Unfortunately, there won't be a need for any background, only a logo and some generic buttons. The name is no longer sd-boot

DOL-101 SD loading was never an issue for me, but it should be gone.
Also, different drives should not matter anymore

Re: SD-Boot non-working games list
If it works for one person and not for another then it's possible that the file on the card is fragmented, or, it's a bad dump. Go to the about screen to see if it's an RC version or check the archive name that it was provided in. I'm writing a compatibility list for the next version.. about 600 mor...

I think you would only be able to get s-video output on an NTSC (Jap) cube.

Re: Open Source Modchip like Wiishkas for GC
I'm not a hardware expert but that's not very useful without knowing the fuse bits to set. The reason I assume it works on a reflashed wiikey is that it has the fuse bits already pre-set the same as the XenoGC does.

Yeah I've been meaning to try that.. it looks like you can flash a wiikey (or super cheap wiikey clone with XenoGC code).

Re: GC-Forever Gamecube and Wii coding competition
A good start would be to download the devkitpro setup.
From there, download devkitPPC and libOGC.
Examples are provided for you to look at in the setup but you must know C or C++ to be able to do anything productive with it all.
