Re: Game Boy Interface

All 3 chroma locations are valid for the official component cables, but presumably not when modified for RGBHV, or using a PAL GameCube's RGBcvS.

Re: Game Boy Interface

That's weird considering what I made you test is equivalent to the default settings.

The high-fidelity edition doesn't have the features of the speedrunning edition, and someone might want to use the speedrunning edition with an OSSC.

Re: Game Boy Interface

You're confused. The high-fidelity edition was made to rectify this. You're looking at the OSSC preset for the speedrunning edition.

  • Added movie recording.
For standard edition:
  • Added movie playback.
The second reason for making Game Boy Interface has finally been realized.
Thanks to gifvex (Game Boy) and endrift (Game Boy Advance) for making this possible!

Re: Game Boy Interface

You can create a Media Source with "udp://<GC IP>:1234/" as input and "png_pipe" as input format. However, FFmpeg assumes a frame rate of 25 by default, so it'll play slow. I recommend you use mpv like so, and Game Capture it: mpv udp://<GC IP>:1234/ --demuxer-lavf-format=png_pip...

Re: Game Boy Interface

Improved multiboot implementation. Attempted fix for SD card compatibility. For speedrunning edition: Improved per-field filtering in single-buffered mode. For high-fidelity edition: Added RGB Sync-on-Green support. Added xvYCC/BT.2020 support for auto-generated 3D LUT. No, this has nothing to do w...

Re: Game Boy Interface

But what I don't understand is what you mean by GBA BIOS/ROM/Save dumper? I know what a dumper is of course (either hardware or software), but what kind of application are we talking about here? A GC dol application? A bios file for the GBA that contain the multiboot function? And how is it suppose...

Re: Game Boy Interface

When I would play a rumble-enabled game, such as Drill Dozer, the rumble would not function, and the frame-rate would get sluggish. Everything would function perfrctly with the standard Gameboy Player disc. Would it fix anything having to do with this? If you have an SD card adapter and a default m...

You forgot to mention something important.

The issue is likely with GCVideo DVI's controller tap.

Please stop confusing presets with versions. I made those for your convenience and there's nothing special about them.

They don't mean to imply a particular edition is best for a particular setup either.

Re: Game Boy Interface

The only video mode currently supported is 720x240p59.7276.

This is only useful for GCVideo HDMI if you can capture in RGB 4:4:4 and drop the odd pixel columns.

This is meant for analog output to an Open Source Scan Converter, Datapath VisionRGB, Magewell Pro Capture, etc.

Re: Game Boy Interface

Scaling isn't supported, it's also not very useful for HDMI unless you have GCVideoX.
