SDHC support for GC? When did that happen?

Post by Coconuts 500 » Fri Jun 25, 2010 10:20 pm

I'm seeing some threads about people talking about SDHC cards and loaders. When did the Gamecube get SDHC support? Does a regular SD Gecko support SDHC cards? Or are there special SDHC Geckos? When did those show up, and where can they be found?

I just got an SD Gecko, it was Wiikey branded. Does this support SDHC?

The mystery of the SDHC is just beginning...

SDHC for Gamecube doesn't require anything special, any SDGecko or equivalent will do the job. Supporting SDHC is a software thing. I added SDHC support to libOGC, so whatever has been compiled within the last year and a half or so should support SDHC.
