My GameCube had no sound, so I jumped 5v to the audio amp circuit, and sound came back, although a little quiet and some clipping. I found that the 12v rail on the regulator board was absent, explaining the no sound issue. After going over the board, and following the traces back to to fuse F1, that's where the trail ended. It seems that fuse F1 is blown, which surprised me, because everything else works fine. I figured if it was blown, nothing would work. Strange.
Anyway, what I'm wondering is, does anyone know the exact specifications for that fuse? It is labeled with a 2A, and the board also shows F1 2A, so I'm guessing it's a 2 amp fuse, but at what voltage, I'm unsure. Any ideas?

Re: Regulator board fuse type.
Use a fuse that has a higher voltage than what it is protecting, keep amperage the same.
