Memory Card slot broken

Post by NeoShain » Thu Jul 22, 2021 5:44 pm

Hello,
I bought an old Gamecube but the Memory slot A is broken. The massage shown when I put a Memory Card in is "Something other than a Memory Card is inserted in Slot A Replace woth a Memory Card."
Slot B works just fine. (As seen on the Images)
Does anyone know this problem or got suggestions on how to solve it?
Thanks in advance!

you will have to send in more details...
your gamecube must be opened to check the details...
it must be rust or an obstructed object inside the slot.
use a gamebit key or the technique of burning a pen with the lighter to open it...
look inside...

have you ever tried looking through the cracks in the slot slit?

Is anything in Slot A when you see that message? If not then you have something shorting contacts in the slot or a short somewhere internally in the GameCube. If it's a memory card that you've only tried in Slot A and never the same one in Slot B then the card is likely corrupt beyond repair.

Hi...I likewise experienced exceptionally slight contrasts is SD card Size. I currently utilize just Mini-SD cards in a connector. There is no speed punishment utilizing connectors.

You can move small scale cards in/out of telephones, tablets, workstations smaller than expected openings.

I suffocated a camera in the sea, the camera was demolished, the connector was destroyed, the little sd card was fine, saved all the photographs.
