Yeah, having a lightpipe for the led would be cool but I guess the plastic is kinda transparent so the led should show through.

I never said that was the finished case...
I said I'm "getting a little closer to completing this project...."

Oh BTW, the LED could shine thru those black cases...faint...but just enough

I have an Original IDE-EXI. What are they worth these days now that a new batch is coming out?

i wonder what other colors will soon be available?

After a few months of trials with the old IDE-EXI shells i became displeased with their overall quality. While I was very pleased during initial evaluation and while the shells were functional and served their purpose, I grew to dislike em. I wanted something better.

In case anyone has been wondering why i stopped selling IDE-EXI, its because of the shells. I wanted to try to create a shell with much higher quality than those previous shells. I have spent the last few years (off and on) trying to test new ideas, materials, and methods to create new shells. I have finally found a solution which will offer a high quality production. Anyone with the previous shells will notice about x100 improvement in quality.

Since these new shells are of significant higher quality, I have decided to officially announce a recall of the old shells in order to provide everyone who made a previous purchase the opportunity to receive a free high quality replacement (just pay small shipping fee).
More details to come....

I have an ide-exi with a modded memory card as the shell. Would I be able to purchase a new shell when they become available??? Will blue ones also be made??
